A hotel to feel good about - no "schikimikki"

Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. It is a family atmosphere and you feel immediately at ease (even children are welcome!)). Rooms are clean and large. Also the breakfast is good (always fruit available). The area invites you to stay longer or come back.
I've already planned my next stay.

Never again

I had booked the hotel for two consecutive weeks for a business trip. When I asked to cancel the second week at the reception, the manager told me that I am not listed. Later on, just a day after the free cancellation period, I received an email, informing me that my room had not been cancelled. A telephone call to the manager did not resolve the issue (he insisted that cancelling the second week was not possible). Neither me nor anybody else from my company will ever stay in this place again. Stay away from it!

Just perfect

On our ike from Munich to Venice ist was our first stop. The room was spacious and offered everything we needed. Breakfast was perfect. The 10minutes hike to the monastery of Schäftlarn ist steep but lovely. Very nice management.

The perfect weekend break

We spent three nights in this lovely hotel. Its location is very pleasant in the middle of the countryside, yet very close to the local train station for Munich. The owners were very welcoming and provided lots of maps and information to visit the area.
> The breakfast buffet was expensive with a wide choice of healthy dishes.
> The cleanliness was also a big plus.
> Overall a very nice place to stop. We can recommend it.

Short stay

We had to sta in this region for my child's school event. When we arrived at the hotel, the door was closed and there was an envelope that was addressed to me and attached to the post. I followed the instruction given and was able to have walked in the room. I did not meet the owner until the next morning. The place is clean and nice. The water pressure and temperature of the shower was good. The Internet was fast enough to watch a video stream. One needs to take stairs to get to the room. There are so many parking lots. On the other side of the hotel there are a supermarket and commodity store. The breakfast includes many types of bread, ham, cheese, fruit salads, yogurt, cereal, and eggs upon request. It was enough for a one night stay. There was no shampoo. Many snacks were in the room to be purchased. There is a fridge in front of the reception from which you can take some to be charged to the room. In the summer, the room might be hot as is often the case in Europe. The price was competitive enough. We'll come back if school events are held again in this region.
