We'll be back!

Very nice boss and staff. A great breakfast offer. Small cozy, though older rooms. Everything very clean. I felt very comfortable. A pool table is available in the lobby. The Cathedral Square can be reached in 10 minutes on foot, but it also stops almost outside the door a tram. I would definitely come back!

Once and never again.

We spent one night in this hotel, and we were very disappointed with the condition of the room we had. It was totally run down and in a very dilapidated state. The staff was friendly, and there were no complaints about that.

Those who like rustic charm will feel very comfortable here.

There are a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, but these are often two or more years ago. I had the opportunity to look at several rooms to choose from. I liked them all, most of them had a tea kitchen, and I now have a room with a couch a side table tea kitchen desk. everything is fine. When booking there was a misunderstanding, and I had some phone calls, also to find the key in the key safe, as I arrived late, the boss I obviously had on the phone there was very helpful and explained everything to me exactly.
The breakfast buffet is overwhelming, but a huge selection is a bit meaty. Many mayonnaise salads and with the cereal mixes they could also pay a bit more attention to healthy eating (less sugar and more whole grain flakes). There was no wholemeal bread or oat milk either. But now in December the fire always burned in the fireplace, and you could sit on the armchairs with a tea and a newspaper and start the day so comfortably. So, it all has a bit of a rustic charm, but I felt very comfortable here and will gladly book this again when I am in Erfurt.
The location is excellent. Outside the door is a tram stop and in 10 minutes you are at the cathedral. Great for motorists: in the courtyard there is a comfortable parking space.

Creepy

The first thing I noticed when I entered the room was the defective toilet flush because it was constantly running. The curtains on the completely dirty windows were closed, whatever. Then I saw the half-torn blind, terrible. The chair was completely broken and under the upholstery were all crumbs. The breakfast was great in contrast to the room (even if the bread wavy) the choice was huge. Also the breakfast girls were very nice. In contrast to the lady at the reception, who was very pampered and did not respond to the complaint at all. Never again

Just a terrible stay there

The room was unclean and the furniture partly broken. Broken like one of the windows, so I changed my room, but...same same...unclean, broken lights, old stuff...
The people are kind, but language skills are neither available in German nor English. I did not taste breakfast.
