Ovaj šarmantni vrhunski hotel s 3 zvjezdice u staroj gradskoj jezgri Flörsheima nudi jedinstvenu atmosferu s dekoracijom u holivudskom stilu. Smješten je u povijesnoj samostanskoj zgradi i u obiteljskom je vlasništvu od 1853. godine.

Recommended Hotel in Florsheim
This hotel is movie themed, very tastefully done throughout. In addition there are DVD selections in both the rooms and throughout the hotel, just take the box, so if you want to relax one night there are DVD players in the bedrooms. I would recommend paying slightly more for a suite upgrade as this provided a large area with a mega wall mounted TV, sofa and chairs. The room was very clean with a daily clean, change of towels.
We went over the Easter weekend so the local area was very quiet with most places being closed, but there is a lovely selection of restaurants nearby, although we not to sample them. The hotel is only a one minute walk to the river that has a path for a relaxing walk, very well presented with seats along the way to watch the large barges go by. We would recommend a stop off at the local boathouse, to watch the world go by when weather is favourable enjoying a cold drink.
A nice 25min walk over the bridge, foot/ cycle path, takes you into the busier Russelheim area, which has larger shops and more cafes/pubs, only 12Euro return in a taxi.
A continental breakfast is available from the hotel at a supplement and there is a small hotel bar area with seating available outside.
We took the train one evening into Frankfurt for a walk around and food, trains were very regular.

Quirky, cool hotel.
What an amazing hotel!
Full of really cool film memorabilia and every room is different, each with its own quirky personality.
Very clean rooms and hotel staff very friendly.
Parking is only a short walk away as well as a nice Italian restaurant.
Stayed there with a group of friends and all loved it.
Highly recommended.

A place with some real soul
I will just summarise it saying that my inner nerd was in HEAVEN, the made my day! This place has a great personality with an infinity of details wherever you look. I arrived really late in the evening, and the stuff was there just waiting for me. You guys got some points there!

Movie buffs dream
We booked two nights here on business. The Hocheim Festival was on, so we were not able to find accommodation in the town, so booked here in Florsheim instead.
The hotel entrance is at the back of the small carpark, and the entry hall has a life sized Batman in the foyer, and a Spiderman! Movie posters and memorabilia are everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. We were shown to room 4, which had a massive TV (that I couldn't get to work!) with a Sky box and DVD player. managed to get to Sky but obviously everything was in German so I gave up. Not really a problem for us. The Memory Foam bed (two separate single mattresses) was very comfortable. The shower was easy to use and everything was clean.
There is also a small fridge with water and soft drinks for €1.90 each.
Coffee at breakfast was good, but the selection of food was a bit minimal at an extra €6.90. Basically, juice, cereals, bread and cheese, cold meat. The croissants were fine on Monday, but past their prime Tuesday.
The hotel is on the flightpath into Frankfurt, which didn't bother me but did wake up my husband.

Eccentric Hotel in a Great Location
Great location 10 minutes by autobahn from Frankfurt Airport. We have actually stayed here twice on two trips to Germany, four years apart, on our way out of the country, and the gasthaus has not changed! The most recent time, we arrived early in the day and the hotel management sill accommodated us with no problem, well prior to check-in time, even though we offered to disappear and come back later. Love the old movie posters and Hollywood memorabilia throughout the hotel. The restaurant next door served the most awesome jaeger and paprika schnitzels that we've had in a long, long time. Due to its location is this hotel great for both business travelers and tourists. There's a nearby grocery store and an ATM for currency exchange if needed. This place is a true gem and the only one like it we have ever encountered.
