WORSE, WORSE
We left immediately the next day, although we had booked 4 days. The rooms are in an indescribable condition: Intimate hair from previous guests in the shower, faeces from the predecessor in the toilet, dirt, mold, detached wallpaper, cobwebs (the spiders have long passed away) etc.
Breakfast indescribably bad and the dining room freezing cold (about 15°) - and no one is responsible, or no one there!""

Disappointing!
We were with 2 couples on bike ride. We had booked the package with B&B, welcome drink, packed lunch and free bike parking. Sorry, no one was there at the specified check-in time. By phone we could get the code for the door safe with the room keys.One of the keys given was not to be found and the room was changed. We should temporarily store the bikes in the hallway -- so the e-bikes had to be balanced up the entrance stairs first. Late in the evening, a phone call came to tell us to check in for the formalities and there was a bottle of beer as a welcome drink.
The rooms were so far ok, however, in one of the bathrooms the floor was full of hair. Cleanliness looks different.
The service in the morning was diligent and tried. However, the breakfast buffet was not what we expected in the price range. Compared to the other hotels on our tour clearly at the bottom. The waitress was apparently not informed about the packed lunches, but then packed us a sliced roll, butter, jam, cheese and sausage, a few strawberries and an apple in a box. That's it.
The rooms were so far ok, however, in one of the bathrooms the floor was full of hair. Cleanliness looks different.

Once and never again!
We booked an overnight stay in May, When booking we unfortunately overlooked that there are still rooms here without bathroom and toilet. But that was not the reason for the poor review, The room was unclean and in a poor overall condition, The untrained staff in the hotel restaurant were friendly, but you had to wait a very long time (sometimes over an hour) before you got anything at all. Breakfast was a bad joke, the coffee machine from the early 90s had to be filled or emptied again and again with water after 3 cups. Baked rolls were served every 20 minutes (only 6 pieces at a time) and the eggs were no different. Overall, it must be said that the price/performance ratio is not right at all.

After initial problems, nice stay, very friendly hotel manager!, kitchen good!
The beginning of our stay was very bumpy. We had booked 3 nights via voucher months ago through Connexservice, and also received a confirmation email.
Due to a change of hotel owner, this booking was not passed on and we were on the arrival day in front of closed door. Overall, I must say that the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful to make the stay pleasant.

Bad hotel in a nice location
We wanted to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday in a special atmosphere and were misled by the beautiful pictures and the candlelight dinner in the hotel restaurant. However, the pictures have little to do with reality. We also weren't able to discover the feel-good atmosphere advertised everywhere.
When we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, the reception was closed and we were supposed to check in at the restaurant downstairs. There we were greeted for the first time by a sticky floor and two nice waitresses. The ladies were really nice, but they quickly lost track of things because they were serving the food and taking care of the hotel guests at the same time. So we had to wait over 45 minutes for our check-in.
The hotel complex also doesn't keep what it promises on the internet. The hotel is very run down, as are the rooms. Cleanliness is not taken seriously here. Clutter, dust, cobwebs, etc. can be found at every corner in the hotel and in the room. The dirty carpet from the 80s completes the picture.
In order to somehow save the birthday, we forgot the planned candle light dinner as a precaution and instead had a very good meal in a restaurant (luckily the kitchen wasn't closed yet!) in neighboring Miltenberg.
The next day we continued to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was varied, but very carelessly furnished, almost clunky. Even though there wasn't much going on, the service didn't keep up. Half of the tables were not cleared, the rest were not set. In order to be able to enjoy the terrace with the beautiful view of the Main, we had to take care of the coffee cups etc. ourselves.
All in all, we believed the beautiful pictures, but what turned out to be a failure. The images are staged and very heavily embellished. They have just as little to do with reality as the beautiful hotel description. We absolutely cannot recommend the hotel!
