Great overnight stay

Very clearly signposted from main road and lots of free parking. Check in straight forward along with wifi codes. Room looked it had been refurbished recently and was spotless. No air con, but the little fan kept room cool throughout night even though daily temperatures were 28 °. Beds comfortable, shower lots of pressure and a shower door that didn't leak. Breakfast had lots of choice. Biggest asset they have is the staff. Well done guys!

Catastrophic!

Formerly a nice, clean, small hotel with nice staff and a good breakfast! No longer recommended! No breakfast, no staff, and if someone is there, they don't speak German and don't understand what you want! Stayed there over the weekend and it was catastrophic! Torn curtains, half-ripped-out electrical outlets in the hallway, a removed roller shutter! Crooked toilet cistern that fell off the wall at night because it probably wasn't fastened properly! The bathroom was flooded, and we spent half the night mopping up the water with bath towels, which had still spread to the hallway by morning! Since there was no sign with a phone number to be found, I couldn't reach anyone!

Not the way it used to be

Since the 1990s I have been going to this (then) family hotel every year. You can easily reach the Frankfurter Messe from the nearby train station. The hotel is now apparently operated by new operators, and is mainly aimed at long-term stays for workers. It is still quiet to sleep, but breakfast and reception are poor.

Straight forward hotel Niebuhrs, a good place to stay

I stayed for a short visit to Friedrichsdorf and Bad Homburg in this clean and straight forward hotel. The staff was very friendly. The hotel offers free WiFi and a great traditional german breakfast buffet.
Good value for money

Great stopover and would think nice for longer

Used as a one night stop over on route. Clean, fresh, comfortable, cheap. Good breakfast continental style. Comfortable bed and decent shower. So kind to wait for me until arrival at 0200!
Free decent wifi, free parking. Village looks charming.
