A very great hotel right on the lake. Very friendly staff in all areas. Dinner top and breakfast totally super! We would love to come back again sometime.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to complain about, everything was perfect, from the room to the entire staff, the breakfast is unique.
This hotel is highly recommended.

"Checked in" has several meanings…

We arrived for one night and just wanted to have a good time for 2 days. As a little getaway.
(The rooms, like in every hotel, are ready for occupancy from 3 PM) I had explicitly asked if it is possible to use the spa area earlier (before checking into the room); the answer to that was "as soon as you have checked in - you may use the spa area in advance."
For us, that clearly meant yes, perfect, that means we will leave earlier and can then just relax a bit in advance.
When we were on-site, we were proven wrong. We had checked in and were told that we could move into the room from 3 p.m. etc.
Regarding my question whether we could then go to the spa area in advance. I was put off with a "no, only once you have checked in" ?!?!"
I was standing right here and had already checked in... I had shown the lady the email conversation that explicitly stated that you can use the spa area as soon as you have checked in, so also in advance...
It was then explained to me that "checked in" means -> as soon as you are in your room...
This explanation was new to me, but it is not my nature to argue too much. However, had we known this in advance, we might have chosen a different hotel since we only had a limited amount of time. I kindly pointed out to the staff that they should perhaps change their way of expressing themselves because customers misunderstand that. So we walked around the lake for 4 1/2 hours....
No questions- this view etc. Breathtaking really! Our room was clean, tidy, nicely furnished, spacious, and the spa area was manageable but had everything you need for a short trip.

Very beautiful hotel rooms and surrounding area. Only negative, was the uncomfortable bed and pillows, it was difficult in getting good sleep.

Fabulous location and best view of the lake. Staff friendly and nice (as long as they spoke German). Unfortunately, there is still real shoddy construction in the room after the renovation. It seems no final building inspection was done here: leaky sanitary facilities, unprofessional plastering and painting work, carpentry work with gaps, etc. The hotel really had no luck with the selection of craftsmen. Some improvement will likely be necessary here. Nice at first glance. Thank goodness they were not essential defects. Unfortunately, the room did not match the website. If you also add the construction noise, then my choice of hotel was rather too expensive. For this money, I could have also gotten a 5* hotel. SPA area rather modest and pool water not as stated; too cold to linger in comfortably. After the renovation and fixing of the defects, one can certainly give the hotel another chance.
