Exceptional Hotel

Even by the high standards of German hospitality The Hotel Sommer, Füssen is exceptional. The staff are friendly, welcoming and polite. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are immaculate as indeed are the gym and spa.
The generous breakfast buffet and inclusive five course evening meal deserve special mention. The excellent cuisine with its imaginative presentation and sheer variety is most impressive.
The hotel's location by Forgensee, with its boat trips and canoe hire is nevertheless within easy access of the town and its many attractions.
Rooms are tastefully furnished, well equipped and meticulously maintained and cleaned.
If returning to Füssen, we would unhesitatingly choose Hotel Sommer.

Full service hotel with onsite restaurant and spa.

Nice, full service hotel with restaurant and spa in good location for driving into Fussen or to area castles. Stay included a full breakfast buffet which was very good with lots of variety (even bacon and eggs for American tourists). Also, a very good onsite restaurant for evening meals which was nice after long days of touring/walking. Hotel seemed very full so restaurant was very busy but even still, never had to wait for a table. Hotel is nicely situated on lake but do need to drive if you want to eat somewhere other than the onsite restaurant/bar.

Absolutely superb hotel. Travelled with my 11 year old daughter. Everything was fantastic, super staff, location, pool! Would def recommend & would love to return if visiting here again :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sommer in Füssen. The rooms were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very helpful. The pool and spa was exceptional.

Nice hotel with great spa

On our way to Austria we stayed here for two days.
It's a lovely hotel with a great spa that's second to none.
Fruit, water etc. are available. Outdoor and indoor pools are large enough.
Food is absolutely fine and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Also great are the various actions before dinner.
Unfortunately, when booking, neither the construction site directly at the hotel was pointed out, because due to this the total traffic is passed by the hotel, nor that the lake is empty until May.
This is of course a shame and reduces the holiday experience.
Overall a nice hotel and close to downtown Füssen.
