Very relaxed place in a great location.

We are currently staying here for six nights and could not be happier with the location. We are within walking distance of anything we could need - restaurants, groceries, shopping, hiking trails, etc. - but in the Partenkirchen side of Garmisch-Partenkirchen which is less touristy. The apartment is comfortable with a bedroom and bath on the ground floor and the living room, kitchen and balcony upstairs. We love this place.

We had a 4 day stay in Garmisch and the accommodation was beautiful. A typical german style apartment. Very clean with everything we needed. There was a wellness suite in the basement with sauna, solarium and various other wellness bits. The rooms were very clean and the bed large and very comfortable. No oven or microwave, but a hob, fridge and TV. The collection of the key for the apartment was easy and just a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Germany.

Lovely traditional apt in great location

From moment we parked up i knew this was going to be lovely stay. The building has plenty parking, welcoming hallway and lovely traditional decor.
We stayed in one bed apt on first floor , Waldeck room.
Hallway for coats n boots, large bedroom and lovely living dining area with highe wrap around balcony. Dog bed and bowls for our 2 dogs. Very clean. Sauna bookable and worth a visit.
In excellent location , 5 min walk to old town.
Also did hour carriage ride, which was fab, just missed out on being able to go on the snow with it.
Just a great stay, thank you.

Lovely

Stayed in apartment number 8 which had a nice wee balcony overlooking the mountains but we didn’t use the balcony much what with the time of year we visited. We always use Hotel Schatten however it was closed for their annual holiday and this was a last minute trip for my wife and I with our 3 year old Daughter and we thought we’d give self catering a go and it didn’t disappoint.
We ate takeaway pasta and pizza on 2 nights and the cosy kitchen dining area was perfect and the fridge (complete with complimentary beers) kept wine, milk etc well chilled. Great location, great bed, great massive bathroom with super shower. We declined the lovely offer of morning breakfast basket and instead I opted to walk to the local bakers for morning delights to accompany the things we had bought at the local supermarket which is a 3 minute walk away.
Would we return? You bet we would! Although Schatten will always be our number one option it’s nice to have discovered a fantastic alternative on the doorstep.
