As always a wonderful stay
The staff is super nice, the breakfast is rich and delicious.
Our room as always large, super clean and beautiful.

Lovely family-run hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Lovely small family-run hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast selection was on the smaller side but we still enjoyed it every morning since everything was super fresh and tasty + they prepare pancakes, scrambled eggs on demand. Our room was nice and tidy with a great view to the mountains. In conclusion the hotel represents Bavarian experience very well.

Wonderful hiking vacation, despite extreme heat

We were at Hotel Alpengruss for the first, but not the last time.
The single rooms, like the entire hotel, are beautifully furnished, with plenty of wood and a lot of love.
Modern and tradition.
The entire team is very friendly, and there seems to be a very good chemistry in this establishment.
There is a great breakfast buffet, with egg dishes made to order, which leaves nothing to be desired.
The hotel is close to the train station, about 5-8 minutes away, and approximately 15 minutes from the pedestrian zone.
Of course, it was very warm in the rooms, especially on the 2nd and 3rd floors; there is currently no air conditioning, but no one can do anything about the heat wave.
We have already booked again for 2027.
