Nice place that needs some management attention

Nice hotel and location but need some renovation to earn 5 stars. But watch out for the Uberfuhrer at breakfast! The guy is dictating every step of the guests and plays a tune (In Hamburg sagt man Tschuss) loud at 1030 sharp when breakfast closes and he wants everybody to leave! We informed management about this ”incident” and they had no idea and did not believe us at first!

We had a fantastic stay at Le Méridien Hamburg! You can tell it’s an established, classic hotel, but everything is kept in immaculate condition and works like a charm .
* Breathtaking Views & 9th-Floor Dining: The views are absolutely stunning! Having dinner at the 9th-floor restaurant on a clear summer day was nothing short of perfection ☀️️.
* Facilities: The pool and gym area definitely reflect a classic design style and feel a bit dated compared to modern standards, but they are fully functional and well-maintained ‍♂️️.
* Top-Notch Service: As always, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay .
It’s a wonderful hotel with timeless quality, and we would happily return! ❤️

Nice for families

Really good breakfast with nice selection and great large rooms (family room).
Central location and finest view from the room.
The pool was nice with sauna- one could wish the area bigger when there are many people :-)

Awesome hotel.

Awesome hotel. We arrived tired from train travel from London over the past few days, A treat for our last night of vacation. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in getting us the Lakeview room we requested. The room was spacious beautiful and clean. The bathroom was huge with both a large clawfoot tub and well appointed shower cabin. We had room service which was both delicious and professionally done. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic a buffet with an actual honeycomb frame. Waitstaff that would bring coffee , tea. juice or something from the breakfast menu. The views of the lake were stunning. They also had a bit of whimsy with royal portraits of Batman and Robin and one of the Hulk the joker and Alice in Wonderland. Awesome stay,

We had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien. 2 adults and 2 boys aged 5 and 7. The staff were super nice towards the kids - Especially at the breakfast buffet.
Our check-in were a bit late, so we were given a voucher for drinks at the rooftop bar - which is a nice place with good views over the lake and Hamborg.
