In the action
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel is very clean, the wifi was good. I could open the window and look out onto the streets. The code system was quite easy to get in and the communal toilets clean. Also can even cook which was useful to save some money on restaurants. A good choice.

Had no problems with the accommodation in itself. Things were very clean and fresh, I didn’t hesitate to use any facilities due to poor hygiene. I did, however, not realize what sort of neighborhood I booked in. I was expecting some noise, but even with earplugs (provided for free!) I struggled to get more than 6 hours of sleep. I didn’t even stay there over the weekend, so I presume the street noise would be even worse then. This place is clearly intended for people who intend to party all night on the Reeperbahn and sleep during daytime.
It was pretty tiring having to fend of a bunch of prostitutes every time I wanted to get back to the accommodation. Not a big problem, but it was annoying to have to deal with.

Sleep to the sound of "La Macarena"
To the rhythm of the Macarena.
A very functional hostel. The same day of arrival you are sent a pin to access it and your room, it is above the Paloma Bar. There is no reception or person. All automated. To access, tap the doorman and the door opens in 5" + green light = ok (easy).
Modern design (Ikea type), very clean, with kitchenette (kettle, hob x 2, cutlery x 2, dishes) fridge, kitchen paper. Fan (does not have air conditioning).
Bathroom: hairdryer (basin and shower box) -carry gel and shampoo- has no toilet, there are 3 outside. 8 rooms in total. The + negative is the external noise of the bars, although it is soundproof. Video surveillance.

Great for a few days
Pretty much exactly as described. Location is smack bang in the centre of the Reeperbahn so you can`t go wrong. The room was of decent size and was well equipped for a few days. Shower room was small but modern and everything worked as it should have. Code to get into and out of the apartment is great. My room directly overlooked the Irish bar across the road so there was a lot of noise but I knew that coming into it so didn`t really bother me. If I was coming back, I would stay here again.
Disliked · The only downside was not having a toilet in the room. That said, the communal toilet was spacious and kept very clean so no real issue overall

Unterkunft für Feierwütige mit wenig Schlafbedürfnis
Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und funktional und liegen im ersten Stock eines Wohnhauses. Der Zugang mittels Zahlencode ist praktisch da man keine Schlüsselkarte verlieren kann und obwohl die Toiletten auf dem Flur sind sind diese erstens Sauer und in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Auch die kleine Pantryküche, ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher und Minimalküchenausrüstung ist praktisch, da es kein Frühstück gibt, aber man sich seinen Kaffe dort selbst kochen und im Kühlschrank auch einen entsprechenden Snack bunkern kann. Allerdings sind die Räume teilweise direkt über Kneipen und man hat eine 24 Stunden Beschallung die nichts für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf ist. Wer nach dem Feiern todmüde ins Bett fällt den mag das nicht stören kann aber morgens schon etwas nerven. Auch die Lage nähe Hans-Albers-Platz & Herbertstraße macht die Unterkunft nicht unbedingt Familiengeeignet da man dort entsprechend auf Prostituierte trifft. Ideal für feierwütige Wenig- oder Komaschläfer.
