Very good hotel with great location!
Very good hotel with good location, only 4-5 minutes walk from Altstad.
We had nothing to complain about, good standard of rooms with well functioning air conditioning. Quiet and peaceful at night.
Very good breakfast with a great variety of food and fruit.
Good parking garage in the basement.

A hotel that is not worth its 4 stars
This hotel does not deserve its 4 stars: no attention in the rooms apart from a candy on the first day (no water, no coffee); the reception staff do not say hello; the bedding is mediocre. There is a variety at breakfast but mostly savory options. We are disappointed.

Soundproof hotel with well functioning air conditioning, unfortunately also disappointing implementation of the complaints.
We are satisfied with the customer approach and the overall visual impression of the hotel was good. The air conditioning worked fine and the rooms are well insulated.
We are not satisfied with the condition of the shower: there was a large spot of mold in the cabin. We are also not satisfied with the third bed for the third adult. This was a hard sofa bed. In addition, the lighting in the stairwell (also escape route) did not function.
The complaints were well received at the desk. It has been noted and an apology has been issued. Solutions were also immediately looked at. The implementation of the improvements was unfortunately insufficient.
The mold hasn't been removed. I understand that this is not always solved 1,2,3, but then at least come back to it and possibly offer another room or compensation.
It was said that a topper was available for the sofa bed. Too bad, we thought, that it was not immediately placed on it since the shoulders or lower legs are on a hard board. However, the topper was not a thin mattress but turned out to be a duvet. When it was imposed, one of the earpods fell out of the closed box and it was under the dust under the sofa bed. Lucky I did a good check and looked under the couch!
The lights of the escape route had not been fixed 5 hours after reporting. That was when we left the hotel.

A too expensive stay!
Our room was a big one with a terrace. It was comfortable and quiet when we checked in on a Friday afternoon. It was very nice to sit at the terrace during the weekend. But on Monday morning children’s noise and shouting have broken the silence as there was a school nearby.
The beds were comfy and the AC was a plus as it was 38 grad celcius and very humid.
The breakfast was very well.
But there was no place in the car park when we checked in. A man at the reception has described a public carpark which was nearby. We have parked there without any problem for a few days. But 3 days later when we came back from a visit there was only one parking place left which was the first place. We have parked there as it seemed it was a normal parking spot. Unfortunately the day after, our car was taken by the local authority. We had to pay 370 Euro with the explanation the first spot was reserved only for “carsharing” which we have never heard before. Actually there was a sign next to the spot but as we have never seen it before we could not get the meaning. So pls be careful when parking there. At the end of the day the stay became too expensive because of the penalty we got.

Great hotel, staff and food!
What a great hotel! The staff, rooms, food and location are all excellent. And, considering the high temperatures in Germany right now, the air conditioning was definitely an added benefit!
The hotel is only a few s-bahn stops from the train station and the Heidelberg pedestrian zone and the Neckar River are only a couple of stops in the other direction.
We found a special offer on Qube's website that included one night at the hotel, dinner, breakfast and reserved parking in the garage for 220 Euros. If you're looking for a short stay in Heidelberg, I highly recommend this package!
