Gladly again

Nice hotel, very good beds, absolutely friendly staff, large garden with deckchairs, indoor pool, reasonable hairdryer in modern bathroom. Conveniently located for trips to Bamberg, Nuremberg and Saxon Switzerland. Auto notwendig. We would definitely come back.

Nice place, delicious food!

Nice, well maintained hotel. Very nice host family who took great care of! Thanks for that!! Nice garden, great little swimming pool, very clean! The food in the restaurant was very delicious. We would definitely come back. Rooms facing the garden are nice and quiet!

Excellent for events or tourism

I booked this hotel because my company scheduled an annual convention in this location. I was surprised to find out how good this hotel is, so I stayed beyond the length of my event.
They have a couple of multi purpose rooms that can accommodate a large number of guests for an event, I would say we were 60 persons in that room. Dining was excellent too. During my stay I saw other events being catered too, such as birthdays and weddings.
The rooms have enough space and have been recently renovated. Cleanliness is great. The shower room is a great detail. My room has a terrace with chairs that I didn’t use because it was still a little cold outside, but seems to be a good detail. The Hotel staff is friendly. There is WiFi, a little slow sometimes.
I only used the restaurant one time. It was good, but a little slow for American standards. There are also a number of restaurants in town that you can use too, just a 5 min walk. They also have a indoor pool and a sauna which I didn’t use.
Highly recommended, prices are reasonable. The hotel is 10 min from the train station, so you can visit Bamberg or go to Nuremberg and come back.
