10 euros daily for the use of air conditioning, but showers was included!

A nice little hotel, we stayed in the guest house, which is within walking distance of the hotel. Large rooms, large bathroom, but there are missing hooks where you can hang a towel. We were there 2 years ago, even in the summer and had sweated properly overnight, as the room had no air conditioning. Now we were offered at check-in to use the air conditioning - which is permanently installed in the room - for a whopping 10 euros a day. At 35 degrees, we paid for it. Breakfast is very varied and appetizing. I had noted when booking and checking in that I had a gluten intolerance. Although we had agreed a time for breakfast, no corresponding bun was prepared. On request, the preparation would have taken 15 minutes. I forgot and baked my own bread in the toaster, unfortunately on the 2 day the toaster was also defective and of course no bread roll was prepared.

Good hotel

The place Kandel has not convinced us so much ... the typical Palatinate wine feeling is only sparsely pronounced here. The hotel, on the other hand, we really liked it. The beautiful, apparently renovated room convinced. Breakfast was very neat. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The reception was not always staffed, but on arrival someone quickly showed up and checked us in quickly and without any problems. The fact that the hotel does not have a restaurant is no problem. However, we did not find a bar where you can get a wine for a stay in the beautiful courtyard. We missed that one. Otherwise we felt comfortable here and can recommend the hotel with a calm conscience. A very solid threesome with a trend towards a four-way rating.

Small hotel with good value for money

If you are looking for a cheap and clean accommodation, this is the right place. Spacious rooms, good facilities, quiet location, nice decor, friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking....., so everything you need. However, not barrier-free.
Even if there is no kitchen in the house, there are enough good restaurants within walking distance.
So basically everything is fine and if I have to stay close again, I'm back here.

Iconic small town hotel between Landau and Karlsruhe

Friendly staff, well-equipped, spacious rooms, breakfast only, but restaurants on the other side of the street.
Unfortunately there is no elevator, so if you live upstairs, you shouldn't take too much luggage with you, as the parking lot is at the back of the hotel, which you may have to walk around several times.

Nice, new, clean and tasty breakfast

I stayed there for one night in a spacious and new room. Hotel located just 5 minutes walk from train station. Breakfast is huge and tasty. Price is ok. Highly recommended for those staying in this area .
