Fantastic Castle close to the Hotel

If you stay in Hotel zur Wasserburg you have to visit the castle, it's only a five minute walk.
The castle was built in the 14th century and it
is surrounded by a beautiful park. Today it's a place to celebrate. You can visit the castle the whole year, but the perfect time is spring.

Solid and satisfying

The hotel is a typical German country hotel. During our stay there were also a lot of guests who came from elsewhere and were working in the region. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. There is a large refrigerator in the lobby from which various drinks can be taken for a fee.
The room was very spacious, with a separate hall, spacious bathroom and a spacious bed. Unfortunately the pillows were terribly soft! Avoid the rooms facing the street on the ground floor, unless you like to be woken up early.
The breakfast was limited, the most basic items were available, including fresh fruit.

A great overnight stop hotel

Hotel is a few kilometres outside of Kerpen and is located in a very dull looking village, but the hotel itself is very pleasant inside. A great overnight stopover. After a long days drive the rooms window shutters provided a complete black-out ensuring areat nights sleep.
Really friendly hosts and staff combined with a nice clean, comfortable room with wi-fi. There was a well stocked vending machine contained snacks and drinks far cheaper than those found in nearby bars.
Superb buffet breakfast and great coffee.
No hesitation in stopping over again in the future.

Fabulous

This hotel was booked by a company I do business with They could not have found a nicer place We had the true German experience,The food,the staff and the decor were excellent. The hotel was a traditional rustic German hotel Great value for the money looking forward to going back in the future

Good accomodation when travelling around SW of Nordrhein-Westfalen

Large room (we were on the second floor of the "Gasthaus"), large und comfortable bed.
Everything clean and tidy, but I don't rate "5" for service because there wasn't roomtidying on sunday
Decent breakfast (aber es gab keinen Ruhe/Spiegeleier; nur gekochtes Ei. Schade!)
The landlord was very helpful when we asked him for routes and places to visit.
