5 days of enjoyment with dog.

We have been a guest with dog in Hotel Krone for 5 days in late April, early May. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. There is plenty to do, additional benefit free public transport. Bus and train within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and great buffet in the evening. Everything was always sufficiently replenished and enough variety every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had booked a room with balcony, this is a must, spacious balcony with nice views. The room is simple but clean and good beds. This is the third Enjoy hotel we have visited and so far the best.

Enjoy hotel am Rhein/Krone: 2 hotels in 1

We have booked last minute, a 5-day package (4 nights). It is a so-called all-in combination with breakfast, lunch to be put together with breakfast or snack in the restaurant (reservation necessary) and dinner in buffet form. Breakfast and dinner are provided in 2 separate rooms. Free coffee all day and all other drinks from 5pm: soft drinks, beer, wine, apple korn or amaretto.
Breakfast is simple with sandwiches or bread, spreads, cereals and yogurt, fruit. Everything is amply supplemented. Dinner offers very little variety and is everyday fare with little taste. We didn't see any fish. The soup was very tasty every day and dessert the same every day and sometimes insufficient; is not replenished! The service is sometimes a bit bumbling but friendly. Sometimes you feel that one is understaffed. In mool weather you can eat on the terrace, but there is only limited space.
Parking is also limited and sometimes the car has to be parked in the surrounding streets. The station is very close and with the tourist card you can travel for free in the region. It is eg a half hour train to the center of Koblenz; very easy and comfortable. You do have to take into account that the trains may be delayed.
The rooms are somewhat dated but comfortable with very good beds. The bathroom is a bit small. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep. Can be a bit difficult with luggage to the second or third floor.

Staff was friendly and the restaurant‘s food was amazing. It was a little confusing when we checked in because our room was in a different building down the street and we had to haul our luggage up two flights of stairs into our room.
The room does not have AC and the sleeping in the heat was very uncomfortable.

Hiking paradise

Quietly located hotel on the Rhine. All-in from 17:00. Room was fine. Food was also fine, only dessert left something to be desired.
