Our stopover was worth it we will come more often now

I had the pleasure of visiting the Gandolfo restaurant during my stay in Kirchheim on the A7 and all I can say is: Wow! From arrival to departure, my experience was consistently positive.
First of all, the pizza – that was the best I ever ate! Perfectly prepared, fresh and full of flavour. I can highly recommend them! The ambience of the restaurant also inspired me: clean, welcoming and with a great, friendly team who made the service fast and efficient.
The cocktails were simply outstanding. They were prepared with great attention to detail and tasted fantastic. That rounded off my evening perfectly.
The night in my room was extremely comfortable; I slept really well.
For me it's clear: The Gandolfo hotel and restaurant will be my main hotel in the region! The access from the highway is straightforward, and I like to come back to relax and enjoy the delicious cuisine.
Thanks to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

Not what I thought.

No place I recommend, we went with Scandorama. Very down pressed , breakfast was very basic, only the necessary. Nothing, nothing extra.
Dinner was cooked by a 15-year-old. Putting frozen chicken on an ink and put in the oven can whoever, whip out a little powder sauce, no mixture is needed for it. The food also ran out for those who took first took what they wanted, the poor people who came last in line… had to stand there…
The staff was nice nothing so to complain about. Some cranky old lady picking dishes.
As for the room, it looked nice….in the picture.
But it was badly cleaned. Do not open the windows .
The toilet was blue, spiders….hanging from the ceiling. I was going to take a shower, but checked the shower head…oh my god..almost threw up.

Never again

Not recommended. Were there one night. The room was pretty dark. Small blood stains could be seen on the sheets. In the bathroom the toilet flushing did not work properly. The internet didn't work either and mineral water wasn't in the room either. The reception staff didn't have much to say about it when we addressed the blood stains during check out. Positive are the free parking behind the hotel. Did not feel comfortable the entire stay.

Value for your money

Good service and friendlines seems to be the first thing you will meet.
Room is excellent, bath is excellent, clean and up to standard.
Dinner at Gandolfo is a must, try their crepe's for dessert,
almost as good as Crepe Suzette.
Breakfast is plenty and good,

Room ok, breakfast with clear air up

We stayed at the Hotel Eydt from Saturday to Sunday. Our double room was large, bright, quiet and clean. Compared to the pictures posted here much better. For the price of 15€ per person, however, the breakfast offered was very poor. The rolls were the simplest baked-on rolls made of white flour. No grain or whole grain rolls. There is a bakery directly opposite the hotel, which is also open on Sunday mornings from 07:30. Scrambled eggs or fried eggs also incorrect indication. All in all, very loveless.
