Loved this place

What a cute, wonderful place. Hotel is updated, clean and comfortable. The host was so kind and even provided us a fan for the room. Convenient location, approximately 10-15 min walk to central train station and cathedral. Couldn't be happier.

Pleasant but not too much

Small hotel with only nine rooms accessible without lift, located in a quiet area and close to Cologne station and cathedral (10 minutes walk).
The double rooms are small and clean but quite noisy with thin walls (you could hear the footsteps of other customers), comfortable beds.
There is no reception although the manager lives within the structure and is quite helpful.
There is no breakfast but, in the common room, a machine that distributes hot drinks for a fee. There are no bath products; just a dispenser that distributes an unpleasant-smelling liquid.
In my son's single room, the sink is located directly in the room and there is no wall heating, with the risk of cooling off when coming out of the shower.
Overall, nice hotel but with many improvements to make.

Hotel staff made me cry... I have rarely experienced anything so rude!

Contacted the hotel and asked friendly if they could offer me a short notice cancellation due to Corona. Never experienced such unfriendly and unempathetic hotel staff! Made me cry on the phone and had the nerve to just hang up.

Very Clean and Good Service

Hello,
We have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. First of it is well located, 10-15min walk to well known places.
The hotel, in general, is hygenic. They are managing Covid19 Situation well.
The room was tiny, but very efficent use. Room is very clean, they clean and tidy it up everyday.
They also give good service, always have an answer to your questions.

A cozy, clean family-run hotel, will be back

My room was not very large, but lovingly decorated, quiet, clean and didn't feel cramped even at 6"4' during a week-long stay. It's a very quiet part of town close to historic Gereonskirche. The family that runs the place is very friendly and accommodating. The central station is a 10-minute walk way, the nearest subway station a couple minutes. The best budget stay I've had in Cologne so far - will definitely be back.
