Great host, big breakfast balcony overlooking the lake and family rooms

The Hotel is located in Wallhausen about 20 minutes from Konstanz. The entry is hidden in a side alley off the main lakefront street. We has a wonderful stay here.
The host is friendly. The family room suited us perfectly. There was wifi. The breakfast room has an large balcony which overlooks the lake. Breakfast itself was OK but not outstanding. The area around the hotel has a number of restaurants and a bar. There are plenty of little beaches and swimming spots nearby along the lake. It is a very small hotel so everyone is known by name. We very much enjoyed our stay here

Unprofessional and not recommended

Booked in the evening, in the morning immediately asked for 2 dogs. No answer, no one available, 280 € gone. Unprofessional, not recommended.

Weekend at the lake

Booked the hotel with the believe it’s actually in Konstanz but it turned out to be quite far away but that’s our mistake.
Arriving at the hotel you can have an issue getting a parking as the hotel only have limited numbers.
The location is great just at the lake
The staff very friendly and rooms nice and clean.
Comfortable beds and a fair breakfast buffet.
Also a great roof terrace with full lake view is at hand.
Do we have complaints? Actually not.
Maybe a wider range of drinks, wine etc -

Frühstück 2 verschiedene Brötchen. Wurst 2 Sorten. Käse 2 Sorten. Obst nix. Gemüse 2 Sorten. Fazit: mega enttäuschend. Eigentlich ist einfach ein Pension und dürfte sich gar nie nicht Hotel nennen. Für den Preis also einfach ne Frechheit.

Nimmt Vorauszahlung und ist danach nicht mehr erreichbar

Kurz vor der Pandemie habe ich einen mehrtägigien Aufenthalt gebucht und bezahlt. Das Hotel wurde dann jedoch pandemiebedingt geschlossen. Seit zweieinhalb Jahren (!!) versuche ich nun Ersatz zu beschaffen. Zunächst wollte ich lediglich einen Gutschein bekommen, um der Liquidität des Hotels nicht zu schaden. Dieser Gutschein wurde mir mehrfach versprochen, ist aber nie versandt worden.
Inzwischen möchte ich nur noch mein Geld zurück. Der Betreiber schaltet aber stumm: Beantwortet keine Telefonanrufe, Emails oder WhatsApp-Nachrichten.
In dieses Haus werde ich keinen Fuß mehr setzen.
Finger weg von diesem Hotel!
