You are really in very good hands here if you do not value a modern, lovingly furnished room. If you don't mind big holes in the bathroom walls, loose toilet glasses, a greenish calcified shower head and a dissolving shower hose in the spaky shower cubicle. Also, you should not put any emphasis on being able to hang up your towel, as the towel rail falls from its holder into the wall. The water pressure in the bath is good. The heating thermostat, however, is not. In front of the heating in the room is a large, heavy desk that simply swallows the heat.
So much for the room.
Breakfast is served from 07:00 according to the hotel. I arrived in a pitch-dark breakfast room at just before 08:00. After a few minutes, a friendly but not German speaking employee was nice enough to serve me a coffee-like hot drink, along with some bread and 3 slices of cheese.
At some point, Mr. Roick, the hotel owner, also appeared and collected me with the same bored indifference as he "greeted" me 2 days earlier. I've never seen anything more unprofessional in the hotel industry. There was no booking confirmation by email, nor was I asked at checkout if everything was OK.

Clean, quiet, perfect
What makes it worth the review is the food... it is delicious and the staff is also very friendly.
It is traditional food and personalized atention, I hope I get to go back.
