This is a very nice hotel where we have stayed several times. Parking for our large SUV was available and easy. We had a substantial breakfast every morning - suitable to our vegetarian needs. Dina, our concierge, was very friendly. When we came back to the hotel later in the evening, we were able to grab a small bit in the adjoining pub. Our room was average size, relatively modern and very clean. The shower stall, however, was a little small - my only "complaint". Overall, a very good place where we will go again.

Aircon or a fan would have been a great addition. Only because it’s so unusually hot.
Great place to stay. Will defo book again.

Perfect for a pure overnight stay

Large parking lot, located directly on the road, restaurant and pub attached. If you want nothing more than to stay in a clean room with bed and shower, you are right here. No frills around it, but nothing else far and wide that makes life nicer. The area with its many grey houses is not a corner to go on holiday in. You can reportedly use the spa area the sister hotel, which is a few meters further on the same busy road.
The rooms are spacious, the windows open for ventilation, the bathrooms remade. I didn't find a safe in the room, but there is shower gel and a small TV. There are many ways in the room to store his things. So overall for pure overnight absolutely fine. What I want to emphasize in particular: I have never had such a fast and uncomplicated check-in and check-out in any hotel in the world. What can take 10 minutes for a large chain was done in 40 seconds. The staff we met were very friendly. The pub downstairs in the hotel seemed cozy to me.

Good base for the euros

Good hotel, rooms a little dated but clean and big. Beds comfortable. Has a really good bar downstairs called lohmi’s pub which was very nice. Breakfast was meats and cheese with a cooked egg option. Hotel was close to transport links and had a bus stop directly outside taking you to Solingen station which had good links to leverkusen and Cologne. Trains were unreliable in evenings so we got an Uber back from cologne a couple of evenings which was around 40 euros. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant stay and good facilities. We stayed on mid Agust 21. Just over night after holiday in Germany & Nederland back to Dusseldoft fly back to Heathrow.
