Mega beautiful

A real gem! The castle hotel is lovingly run by private hosts who immediately give you the feeling of home. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic terrace, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room and is prepared with great attention to detail – just perfect. The atmosphere of the house is warm and welcoming, and the location is uniquely beautiful. Absolutely recommended for those looking for relaxation and a warm ambience!

Beautiful, charming hotel

While we were passing through, we (unfortunately) only stayed one night in this beautiful, charming hotel. There is actually nothing to add to the previous reviews. It was simply beautiful, the room was nicely and comfortably furnished, as was the breakfast room, oh what, the living room and the breakfast itself was amazing!! Absolutely top notch!
And on top of that, the hosts were really lovely and attentive.

Authentic hotel, beautiful town

As a family, we stayed in the suite on the reception floor. It was large and well-equipped. The bathroom was very modern. The host could not be friendlier and helped us with dinner plans as well as with the itinerary for the next day (best restaurants, walks & hikes, shops, vinyards). Although parking is right in front of the hotel, mobility-impaired guests (who we are not) would find it difficult to master the many steps. If they do, they will not regret it, as they will enjoy a wonderful view of the Rhine and the castle across the river. Some guests mentioned the railway line. It is very close to the hotel and trains do run frequently, but next to your bed you will find ear-plugs. We slept with open windows ... no problem.
Breakfast was delicious -- various cheeses and cold meats from the region, I recommend the homemade "Fleischsalat". We will be back!

Very interesting little hotel

We stayed just one night but the host was really friendly, the room and the entire house were interesting in a mix of antiques and quirkiness. Lovely garden too. We booked a room with Rhine view but there is a railway line between the hotel and the river. Thanks to excellent insulation we hardly heard the trains though.

Lovely small hotel in an interesting town on the Rhine

This is such a lovely, friendly, family run hotel. Our room was at the back, overlooking the vineyards so we didn't hear the trains. Lorch was a lovely town with a lot of restaurants to pick from. We ended up having our best meal on our trip so far at Lorch. The breakfast at the hotel was also lovely. It's not a 5* hotel, but very good value for money
