Truly an oasis of well-being!
Very elaborately and tastefully renovated hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds and wonderful rooms. Friendly staff, sufficient parking. Very good breakfast with fresh ingredients, including the fruit salad! The hotel is very well-attended, so it gets a bit hectic in the evenings, as in my opinion there is too little staff. Good cuisine, great view of Lake Losheim.

House with potential but still has weaknesses
The house has been and is being renovated.
The whirlpool will probably not return, although it is still partially advertised.
The garden area is currently being redesigned in a new and appealing way.
Refrigerator - in summer temperatures - is now nowhere to be found in the room.
Tea and coffee station in the room is also nowhere to be found.
So far so good (or not so good).
However, the house has its price, and that at four stars.
The previous highlight of the house, breakfast, has meanwhile become very modest, however.
Sure, a question of expectations, but one is simply used to it being more imaginative and better stocked.
Many things are only replenished or brought upon request.
Cake and sweet pastries: None to be found.
Fruit (in summer!) consists of hard pears, apples, and a few grapes.
Fresh melons or, for example, fresh fruit salad that does not consist of frozen goods or apples is currently not available or only upon request.
The selection of cold cuts is not exactly presented in an inviting way, and even yogurt or quark is only available in small pitchers that two to three guests can easily use up all by themselves...
In the past, there was a separate hot water station for tea.
In the meantime, one has to laboriously use one of the coffee machines, although a real tea drinker would refuse water from a coffee machine, as one can never completely prevent this water from absorbing coffee aroma.
Teapots are not available or only upon request.
The earlier small glasses with various smoothies: None to be found.
The offered - supposedly homemade - cakes at the hotel bar are likely just thawed out and attract little interest.
You can save money, but considering the price of the establishment for 4 stars, the breakfast is particularly weak.
We have known the establishment for many years now and are extremely disappointed by how much things have declined here in particular.
The location of the establishment itself, however, is very beautiful, even if the main road somewhat dampens the impression.

Sensational stay – Dream suite with a view of the lake
Sensational stay – Dream suite with lake view! Review: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent three wonderful nights in this hotel and are absolutely thrilled! We were very lucky to stay in the beautiful suite in the middle of the building with a direct view of the lake – simply stunning and highly recommended. The entire staff is extremely friendly and provides excellent service. We were also spoiled culinary-wise: The food was really very good. The surroundings right by the lake are simply sensational and are perfect for relaxation.

Small menu, great taste.
In a beautiful location with a view of the lake, the owners have turned the hotel into a true feel-good place. The menu is still small and clear, but what is offered, from steak to salads to pasta dishes, is truly delicious. Very friendly and attentive service. After a round of golf at the nearby Weiherhof golf course, the splendid terrace offers an ideal conclusion.

Short stop on the way home
Stopover on the way home. The hotel is probably also used as a conference venue and is also well attended on weekdays.
