Good hotel with helpful staff.

Solid hotel with friendly and helpful employees.
Even in the evening shortly after the bar closed, we were still served a wine.
Breakfast is great, the selection is good. The hotel is clean. The location is somewhat outside but well connected to public transport.

Besonders schön ist, dass Ihnen unser Frühstück gefallen hat und Sie die Auswahl überzeugt hat. Ein angenehmer Start in den Tag liegt uns am Herzen.
Unsere Lage am Stadtrand in einem Gewerbegebiet bietet bewusst Ruhe fernab des Trubels und zugleich eine bequeme Anbindung an die wichtigsten Verkehrswege. Die nächste ÖPNV-Verbindung ist in etwa 750 Metern erreichbar; bei Orientierung oder Fragen unterstützt unsere Rezeption jederzeit gern.
Wir freuen uns darauf, Sie bald wieder im PLAZA Hotel Mannheim begrüßen zu dürfen.

Lovely hotel near city centre, very convenient and it has everything you need if you travel as a family. Thank you, we have enjoyed our stay!

Disappointed about downgrade, rooms not very clean. Breakfast and Service fine.

Upon entering room we saw that it was a different one than booked. When inquired, they indicated that we had had a downgrade, because we booked with booking.com for a room (junior suite) that would not have been available anymore. Never been informed of it. Room not very clean, crumbs under bed and on chairs.
Breakfast fine. Wide choice.
So for transit a night fine, but do not know if we would book again soon.
Were pleasantly helped at the reception the next morning. Unfortunately they could not offer a solution either, except parking which we got for free. Should also run through booking.com.
So tip: book via the hotel's own website if you can..

Modern hotel, outskirts of Mannheim. €10 for parking or park on the road. Plentiful breakfast. Room was quiet and nice and clean. No complaints

Good place to stop on the way down to southern France. Clean and cool rooms with a grocery store nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing interesting nearby and a bit sketchy neighborhood but that didn’t matter for us.
