Look no further!
This is a gem of a hotel! I just stayed here with my daughter. It was close to the train station (0.4 mile- easy walk) and on the tram line.
We were able to be on Marienplatz in just a few minutes.
The hotel was clean and safe with a mid-century modern charm. The staff was professional and so helpful.
And the breakfast!!!!! It was delightful with lots of options for all diets.
I will stay here every time I come to Munich.

last resort, a booking bait-and-switch on prices
like one of the last resorts, it feels a bit like being in a hotel forgotten by time, stuck 50 years ago. they tried to modernize the rooms, but everything reeks of old.
the bathroom, then, is a work of art, the shower with a step to trip over entering and exiting, the fan in room 17 also adds a roaring background noise, the water has a "half-assed" adjustment; you get scalded or it comes out pleasantly cold but not too much, still tolerable. the carpet is worn in the hallways and in the entrance, the three steps to access the elevator floor with the danger of "falling"
the staff is truly kind and attentive in describing a bar service that I would never want to try. Purchase metro tickets beforehand anyway, as contrary to modern density in Munich, it is not possible to purchase them on the vehicle. Overall, two stars; it does not deserve three stars, certain three-star hotels are definitely better. Sufficient bed comfort. Last but not least, in room 17 you can perfectly hear the noise from the elevator. ps!!!! be careful, the offered room prices do not include an en-suite bathroom and you have to shell out extra euros to have one

The location to the train line and center is incredibly convenient. The price is right just for that alone. However, the breakfast is surprisingly plentiful and great. The staff, specifically Christos and the young lady at the desk, are warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The rooms clean and comfortable. A very simple place The Jedermann is, but it’s all I need, and not more do I want. This will be my go-to from now on, when I’m here in Munich.

Pleasant hotel in an excellent location and fair prices.
I traveled solo for three nights in July 2026. I had a room with two single beds, perfect for one person. The room had all the basic requirements, quiet and clean. The only small problem I had was with the shower faucet, which was not easily adjustable. The TV even had Italian channels. The breakfast was abundant and of good quality, served in a large and quiet room. Exactly in front of the hotel is the stop for trams 18 and 19, which take you comfortably to the center of Munich, also passing through the Hauptbahnhof, a vital hub for all public transport. It is a hotel that I certainly recommend, also for the price-quality ratio.

I have on two different occasions stayed at the Hotel Jedermann and both times I have really enjoyed my time at the Hotel!
The employee who checked me in (Christolf ?) is very good. He checked me in quickly, walked me to my room and answered all of my questions. He is very experienced, caring and knowledgeable and was there the last time I also stayed at the Hotel.
The Hotel is close to the Main Train Station and is very walkable to many sights that tourists want to visit. It is also in a safe area with many transportation options.
My room was great—clean, quiet, and had a clean, well-maintained bathroom.
The paid Breakfast is well-worth it with many items to choose from. The food is fresh, always stocked and the employees keep the Dining area very clean. The employees are also very accommodating and I truly enjoy and look forward to my Breakfast at the Hotel Jedermann.
I highly recommend the Hotel Jedermann for anyone wanting to stay in the city center of Munich as a safe, quiet location and it is a Hotel that is well-maintained and with very good employees. Many sites are close by and there are many dining options nearby, including a wonderful Bistro next door, Cafe Amadeus!
