First-class theme hotel – including zoo visit & savannah feeling
We stayed at the Hotel am Zoo for the first time professionally and I can't wait to come back.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Hotel am Zoo in Neunkirchen and can warmly recommend it to everyone – whether couple or family. Everything just fits here!
The location: Right in the middle instead of just doing it
The location is unbeatable. Located directly at the zoo, the holiday feeling begins on arrival. The absolute highlight: Admission to the zoo is already included in the room rate! So you can explore the park completely stress-free, which by the way convinced us all along the way – great maintained and very worth seeing.
Design & rooms: Sleeping in the savannah
The hotel concept is fantastically implemented. The rooms are modern, high quality and designed with great attention to detail. The theme worlds of each floor, such as savannah or water, consistently run through the design and create a unique atmosphere.
• The highlight: We had a fantastic view directly onto the zoo grounds. Waking up in the morning with a view of the animals and the roar of the two lion brothers is an experience that you will not forget anytime soon.

Big praise goes to the whole team. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and warm. You feel welcome and well looked after from the first moment.

Great short trip with dog and zoo visit incl.
Very friendly welcome, we immediately felt comfortable. Room simple but clean and cozy. Breakfast was great, great choice and very tasty. Especially great: the location directly at the zoo, admission even included! Even with dog perfect – we will gladly come back.

Simply nice and stylish
Modern annex with kitchen and friendly breakfast room, which also functions as a restaurant, even if not freshly cooked (TK Ware). Despite everything, there is a menu with an eclectic selection. Modernized and attractive rooms with large TV and themed wallpaper with zoo or animal motifs. Water and tea making facilities available.

An extraordinary hotel
I was with a former schoolmate in this hotel to visit another schoolmate who lives in Neunkirchen. The hotel normally deserves 4 stars due to its quiet location directly at the zoo and in the woods , very clean , cozy and large rooms with balcony , parking right outside the door , the hotel manager Mr. Müller as well as his wife who is also the owner of the hotel were characterized by extraordinary friendliness and helpfulness , the same goes for all the staff . For the guests there is a small menu with tasty dishes which you can then take depending on the weather conditions on the large terrace

Comfortable hotel with excellent service
Highly recommended, owner-managed hotel: Located in the middle of the forest, right next to the zoo in Neunkirchen/Saar. Nevertheless, it has excellent connections, sufficient parking space and e-charging stations. Quiet, completely modernized with very attractive furnishings that match the zoo theme. Each floor is designed according to a theme. The color scheme also creates atmosphere. The double rooms are spacious, the bathroom in the single rooms is a little small. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The entire staff is always extremely friendly, helpful and oriented towards the guests' wishes. I have visited the hotel more than 10 times in the last 3 years, most recently for family reasons. My grandchildren are always happy about the free visit to the zoo. There is also a family room or room with a connecting door for families. A bright breakfast room is available for breakfast, and the breakfast is delicious and varied. My family and I have always been extremely satisfied, and the Hotel am Zoo in Neunkirchen will remain my first choice for my visits to Saarland, as the price-performance ratio and the service are right.
