Spontaneous direct hit

We stayed here for about a week and were really very satisfied.
Checking in was short and concise, nice northern German...so I like it after a long journey .
The room was good, we had nothing to complain about here. Well the shower is a bit cramped, but may also be due to the room...we had reserved very spontaneously.
Wi-Fi was also available.
The breakfast buffet was very varied according to our feelings. By then we had already experienced significantly less☺️
The staff is a force, friendly and nice. Also to our lively offspring. While it is not designated as child-friendly, it should definitely be on the flag.
What thrilled me the most was repeat offenders: inside were recognized by the staff, it was briefly nipped and breakfast preferences were also known. Very well prepared

Disappointing handling of illness

We unfortunately had to cancel our trip at short notice due to unexpected health problems of a family member. Unfortunately, we had not taken out travel cancellation insurance that would otherwise have come into force. Although we have been several times to the hotel, we were denied the opportunity to look for an alternative solution. On the contrary: We were informed that we would have called a day earlier, as we now had to pay 80% of the travel amount instead of (only) 60%. Since it was a high sum, we would have expected to be sought with us the conversation - precisely because our family has already made several guest appearances at the hotel. Such dealings with regular customers are disappointing. We will no longer be going to this hotel, but will find another one on Norderney in the future.

No more dog hotel!

The hotel is generally nice, the location is great but unfortunately we were allocated a room which was uninhabitable. We got another for 1 night and afterwards for the same price a simple apartment in which we did not feel comfortable. You felt like you were in a dark, uncomfortable hostel. The annoying thing was that it was known from other reviews, that this room smelled of old dog and the staff did quite surprised. Luckily we found another hotel and the holiday was saved. Why do you reskete with such a room (it wasn't clean either) a bad review?

Gladly again

We stayed at the Hotel Bruns for a week. We really liked it. Very friendly service, great breakfast buffet, central location, reasonable price. The only criticism: the shower in our room was quite small.
We would definitely come back!

Pampering holiday with good value for money

I have stayed in this wonderful hotel for the third time now and would like to particularly highlight the friendliness of EVERY member of staff and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The balancing act between groups (on weekends), repeat guests for years and island holidaymakers who like to stay for a week or longer has been excellently achieved. The hotel is centrally located and therefore within walking distance of shops and restaurants - logically it is louder on the "party weekends" because of people walking past, but in the hotel itself great care is taken to ensure peace and quiet. The rooms are bright and flooded with light and the WiFi works without problems. The breakfast buffet is also very tasty, with something for everyone and alternating between salmon, herring, herring salad or tomato/mozzarella and the particularly tasty Bircher muesli. Small suggestion for improvement for the hotel: perhaps also offer still water and soy milk or oat milk, but that is actually minor criticism at a high level. As always, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back again
