Pleasantly surprised.

It was only an overnight stop on the way back home, but we were very pleasantly surprised.
Although we arrived late in the evening, we were given a very warm welcome.
The room was very pleasant and the breakfast on Sunday morning was very plentiful.
If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we would be happy to stay at the Friesenhof again. We would be happy to stay a little longer.
A big thank you goes to the very friendly staff.

Lower midfield

The furniture is outdated and worn.
Cool reception, as well as check out. Rooms facing the street are animal noisy. Single rooms have extremely small beds and breakfast is better at every baker around the corner. I'm not going to sleep here anymore.

Never take a room to the street

The hotel stopped in the 80s. Furniture and carpets are quite old. It has charm in a way but the carpet, strewn with stains, has had its best times. We had a room facing the street, which made our stay very difficult. It's a lot of traffic 24 hours long. Since it was very hot, we had to leave the window open, sleep was unthinkable. Breakfast was quite good. The scrambled eggs were a bit still roasted, otherwise a nice selection, very delicious bread, really freshly baked. The coffee also tastes good, unfortunately it is served, even in the 80s, in the porcelain pot. That was the 2. Cup already cold.
The staff were all very friendly.

Lovely find!

We are staying here for the weekend (visiting family).
The rooms are clean & comfortable & the staff are lovely- language is a bit tricky as my German is not too good & they don’t speak English but we’ve had fun!!
There is a bar in the reception area & the breakfast is plentiful you’re not stuck for anything to eat!
I would definitely stay here again!!
