Very nice city hotel with sauna and good food
The hotel is brand new, has very large rooms, everything is very clean.
We stayed a total of three nights over Christmas here and four days.
A top hotel with all the extras. It could be our new favorite hotel in Nordhorn.
There is a restaurant, which we have not tested and a very good breakfast in the large breakfast room, as you also know from the sister hotel Inside in Nordhorn.
There are many pitches on the farm, some with roofing.
There is a very large bicycle storage. For electromobility is also said.
Signage is still missing on the pitches.
At first glance you didn't really know if this was the hotel parking lot.
You have to walk around the hotel to check in.
The following tip: first check in and then look for someone to hold the door open for you at the back of the stairwell and then you can comfortably enter the hotel from the back without going around the whole hotel again.
The woman at the service said that was not possible. But it's possible. You can always go out through the stairwell to the parking lot. There's even a wedge there.
Apparently, several people are using this door.
The hotel is very central. Next to the station opposite is a four-lane street, the famous Stadtring of Nordhorn.
As the hotel is very well insulated, you can't hear the traffic.
Tip: Let a large room, facing the parking lot to the rear give heel of the fire door and the elevator.
You are within walking distance of the city.
Since the hotel is brand new, furniture, textiles and building materials are still steaming out.
Tip:. Those who are allergic to it should perhaps wait a little longer and first go to the sister hotel Inside.
At Hotel Inside there is also no carpet in the rooms.
In this new hotel there is carpet.
If you don't like that, you should take that into account.
Especially since dogs are also welcome here.
Personally, I don't like it that much.
I was disturbed by the thick bedding. Especially considering that 21% of all women in Germany are menopaused and mostly deal with night heat, you have no choice but to sleep uncovered in -8° temperatures outside you could not open a window.
In the partner Hotel Inside there is normal bedding. You don't have the problem there.
The bed is very suitable for back and stomach sleepers, as the mattress is very firm. If you sleep on your side, you have a little trouble with your shoulder.
The bed is very large. There's plenty of room.
We had actually ordered room service in writing with the form for after the second night. This one wasn't there. The towels were still on the floor in the evening. Thank God the woman at the reception could give us new towels.
We didn't like this as much, especially since we had requested this both in writing and verbally, as you have to do in the hotel.
The hotel thus does not offer room service for ecological reasons, unless you insist and request it. But I rather suspect that these are economic reasons.
The room has only one sanitary bin and no other bin.
If you have a lot of garbage during the Christmas holidays, you should take it home or see what you do with it.
The hotel still has some childhood illnesses.
For example, the three saunas lack the labeling on what temperatures they have.
If you go up through the stairwell, you don't have to stab in the sauna.
If you come by elevator, you must check in with room card.
Both doors are right next to each other.
Some people came in fully clothed and had the door slam shut loudly while lying right next to it on the rest bed.
You can hang a sign on the door and point out that you do not come to the sauna wearing street shoes, which is actually a given.
Many people couldn't cope with the shower in the sauna and asked me how it turned on and off.
In the dark without glasses you can't see the little black button.
Also missing here and there are labels, for example for infrared function, etc.
The sauna has no changing room.
Again, there was no trash can, because there were at least 100 paper cups for water drinks stacked next to the bubble.
House slippers are missing altogether. Bring these with you.
In the ladies and gentlemen toilet in front of the breakfast room, toilet paper was often missing.
The lady on the first day of Christmas who looked after the breakfast room had a total cold and cleared the table next to us at the table for 7 minutes, in which she carried each individual cup separately into the kitchen, put a rag on the table, disappeared for several minutes and then further cleared the table. Personally, I didn't think that was great now. After all, it is also Christmas Day that you want to start cheerfully.
Unfortunately, we cannot say anything about the cosmetics offer because there were no offers in our period around Christmas.
Except for a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations, there was little Christmas spirit here.
We have addressed all the issues today. The childhood diseases will be fixed soon.

New really nice hotel
Moin, I had the luck already on Feb. Day after reopening to stay there. The reception was very friendly. The room leaves nothing to be desired and is very tastefully decorated like the rest of the hotel. A highlight is the wellness area with 3 saunas!! Ample parking for both cars and bicycles complete the great facility.
