Above average amenities offered provide licensees of the hotel additional conveniences. Nice location, receptive and helpful staff members.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Hauser for a business trip, and it remains my go-to choice in the city. The rooms are always clean, and the location right by the metro station makes commuting stress-free.
The staff is the heart of this hotel, they are incredibly kind and make you feel like a valued guest. Once again, their recommendations for Franconian restaurants were the highlight of my evenings. It’s rare to find such a personal touch. With great bars and dining just steps away, I’ll definitely be back for a third visit!

Unfortunately only 3 stars

We spent three nights in this hotel in December. Booked was a comfort room, for which we also paid a higher price accordingly. In retrospect, however, it turned out that the pictures of our room shown when booking were deposited with the normal room. This means that the comfort room was used as an example for the standard rooms, which is clearly misleading in our view.
The room itself was overall in a neat and clean condition. Although the curtain was damaged and you can tell overall that the hotel is a bit old. This was also evident, among other things, in the very thin doors: Conversations in the hallway, noises from the neighbouring rooms or even a normal cough could be heard clearly. As a result, the soundscape was unfortunately very present. Nevertheless, the sleeping area itself was clean.
Significantly more problematic was the condition of the bathroom. This was visibly dirty, with heavy limescale deposits in the shower cubicle, unclean joints and damaged tiles. In addition, the door frames in the lower area were clearly broken. One could clearly see that this damage has not only been in place recently. Overall, the bathroom made a very unkempt impression.
We addressed the state of the bathroom twice to the staff. We were only told that the problem was known and would be fixed soon. Throughout our stay, however, no improvement was made, nor was we accommodated in any way.
Overall, the stay was therefore unfortunately not as satisfactory as we had hoped. Unfortunately, friendliness alone cannot compensate for a lack of cleanliness, strong clairvoyance and a misleading room presentation.
Nevertheless, would like to thank us for the stay.

Für die beschriebenen Mängel und die unzureichende Kommunikation vor Ort möchten wir uns in aller Form entschuldigen. Wir legen großen Wert darauf, dass Beanstandungen unserer Gäste ernst genommen und zeitnah geklärt werden – umso bedauerlicher ist es, dass dies in Ihrem Fall nicht geschehen ist.

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Hauser and it is a great little hotel.
It is well situated in the Alstadt in a picture-perfect spot that is close to everything but not too busy or loud.
The room was well appointed, very comfortable and very clean.

Great stay overall. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and the staff was friendly. The only downside was the strong cigarette smoke smell. Even on non-smoking areas, it seemed to seep through from the smoking-friendly floors. The smell was quite strong, especially for my wife, who was pregnant, and that made it uncomfortable at times. Aside from that, everything else about the stay was very good.
