A gem in the Southern Black Forest

There are certainly a few in the Black Forest, but the linden tree in Münstertal is “our” gem in the Southern Black Forest. Historic country inn from the outside and carefully and tastefully modernised from the inside. Except, of course, the guest room, which, quite rightly, still has the charm of old times. A very good cuisine, great rooms and warm staff in service. Lots of good reasons for us to come back.

Overall perfect

Very knowledgeable and tastefully decorated.
The host's company is very friendly, attentive and devoted.
The daily breakfast was a delight. Wishes were lovingly fulfilled.
The evening menu can consist next to the ‘upscale cuisine’ restaurant located in the same place.

A wonderful hotel to relax and unwind

We stayed here four days in October 2025. For the fact that in these four days that weather was wonderful, the hotel can't do anything. But for everything else! And this is: An incredibly beautiful, rustic but in important areas (bathroom, bedroom) also luxurious small hotel. No crowds, everything very personal and friendly. A very great kitchen (Mon + Tue you have to wean yourself "unfortunately") with an extremely friendly, competent staff. Here you have a lot of everything - recreation, activity, beautiful nature, good food. Spend a little money and drive here - it's worth it!
