This hotel offers individually furnished accommodation with breakfast included. It is located in the centre of Offenbach am Main, just a 2-minute walk from Ledermuseum S-Bahn (city rail) station.

A really nice place, BUT...
Me and my close friend stayed at this hotel for the night when we attended Frank Martini Party of the Century at Capitol Theater Offenbach. We checked in about shortly before 4pm and the staff were friendly and our room was room 106. The room was really great, especially the bedroom, very clean and the atmosphere was like in the 1920s, like our party in Frank Martini, but the room is not cheap, so we paid €139 just for one night. Of course, you expect everything to work well and cozy when sleeping.
The problem was at night. The heating in the bedroom works nothing, including the heating in the bathroom. However, there are 2 other heaters in the living room, but the heat is not sufficient. I called the staff at about 2am because we felt very cold in the room. The staff offered me to sleep either in the other room or couch. I don't want me to sleep in the other room though because I only want to stay in one room with my closer friends. I don't have a choice then that I have to sleep in the couch. However, the staff tried to vent the heating in the bedroom so that the hot water could flow through the heating, but unfortunately does not go. He said someone had to check the heating tomorrow. I barely slept because the room is too cold.
Breakfast was very tasty and the staff in the dining room was friendly, however, no German speaks because she talked us in English but that is no problem.
Only the heating in the bedroom and bathroom were very disappointing. We paid 139€, so we expect the room to be not only nice, but also very cozy when sleeping.

Catastrophic
I do not recommend this place! The reservation with parking, but even then you have to pay 8€/day for the parking at the reception. The room smells very bad, In the room it smelled strongly of tobacco. There are traces of dirty liquid on the side of the bed. The cooler smells and is rusty. The communication of the receptionist needs to be greatly improved. Never go back there. There is a lack of the smoke detector that will be present in every hotel in 2024, etc. This should be the case in the interests of people's safety.

I would like to warn other guests about this hotel
I stayed at the hotel for one night. My bathroom was not cleaned. There were still shit splashes in the toilet. There was dust everywhere. The shower was not cleaned. Neither did the sink. It also looked as if the bathroom would never really be properly cleaned. For example, black dirt or dust deposits could be found on the cable of the hair dryer. Only in the room the bed was newly made. I also think the room itself was only superficially basic cleaned. There were also crumbs on the chair. Unfortunately, I only took pictures of a few things.
The gentleman at the reception talked his way out and said the hotel can't help it, as an extra company is responsible for cleaning. I think that as a hotel you still have to control the company. I also think it is a great pity that my complaint was not taken seriously. I've asked for an accommodation. The receptionist said that since I got a special price at Booking.com anyway and was allowed to park longer, this is not possible.

Fair but needs work
I stayed at the Hotel Lowën for work and although the staff are very friendly and helpful the stay was let down by the standard of the hotel.
The rooms were unbelievably warm even with the windows open and the ceiling fan on full. The outside temperature was warm but the rooms were really warm.
I had requested a double bed but was given two singles, and the beds are very soft and springy.
The hotel was seemingly getting a makeover but my room’s door seems to have been once beaten through with a big hole filled on the outside and covered by a fire exit instruction on the inside.
Breakfast was ok and a big selection of different things, cooked and cold, again helped by the very friendly staff.
Was ok for a budget.

thank you for your honest feedback. It actually helps us to understand what we need to improve in order to make the stay for our guests better. We are happy to read that you found our staff friendly and helpful. It seems that the breakfast was also fine.
However we understand the issues you mentioned - we are working on them. At the moment the rooms are being redesigned and refurbished. Thereby we will ofcourse prioritize the mattress quality. Also every completed room is getting new doors (ofcourse without a hole in them).

Good for business trips
Basic hotel. Near subway. It takes only 30 minutes to get to the Frankfurt city center. Room was clean and basic. Bed was small but comfortable. Breakfast basic but still good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
