TOP hotel on the beach

We had booked at the "Hotel am Meer" over the turn of the year and were rebooked to the hotel "Nixe" due to overbooking. This was very annoying at first, as I wanted to present my wife with a surprise after 49 years of work. That has not been successful. However, the Hotel Nixe managed to say goodbye to Binz again conciliatory. Everything was very good.

Three perfect days at the Baltic Sea

We spent three wonderful days in this very personally run, sensitively renovated beach villa.Our room overlooking the promenade, the wonderful breakfast and the proximity to the beach fulfilled our expectations completely.

Nice modern hotel in a quieter location by the sea with great breakfast.

The hotel is a branch of the hotel by the sea, where check-in is also done. Nixe itself is a new building and is rather further away from the centre of the seafront. We found this pleasant, so it was rather quiet from the pedestrians. Our room was quite large and modern, the bedroom itself just has room for bedside tables and bed. Overall, however, there is plenty of storage space for laundry etc. Bathroom is functional and not too big but clean. Parking (extra charge) behind the house. We were unlucky that sewer work was taking place, so it got louder in the morning and the driveway to the hotel was connected with obstacles.
Breakfast is a highlight - very delicious and versatile so you could really recharge your batteries for the day's activities. The Service and breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's a pity that the bikes here have no lockable space and no charging facility - they are only available in the hotel by the sea (to a fairly limited extent).

Beautiful hotel

The Nixe is a beautiful hotel at the quiet end of the Binz beach promenade. The new hotel owners have lovingly taken care of the historic villa and have subtly renovated and improved the beautiful design rooms. The varied breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and also contains many local products. In fine weather you sit very comfortably on the garden terrace with a view of the promenade and the Baltic Sea. The service is very attentive and warm. If you book a room with Baltic Sea view, like us, you can enjoy the view of a wonderful evening sky over the sea in appropriate weather. There is no dinner in the hotel, but many restaurants within walking distance. But on the first night we have the restaurant of the sister hotel. “Hotel by the sea” tried, which was a little further away (about 10 min walk). We liked this so much (especially the very friendly service) that we also enjoyed the other evenings strolling over the promenade there and did not even try the restaurants surrounding the mermaid.

Always happy

An extremely beautiful hotel in a prime location in Binz. We have been coming here for 10 years and have never been disappointed. The rooms in the old building at the front are particularly charming. The lady who served breakfast was particularly friendly and enthusiastic. Her smoothies were amazing. A small but very nice wellness area. The special thing: you are in a prime location, but it is still very quiet.
