Hier fühlt sich Erholung ganz leicht an- eine Woche, die sich wie zwei anfühlte..
Eine Woche Ostsee, eine Woche Prerow- und eine Woche pure Erholung im Hotel Linden mit Yin-Yoga bei Shanti Wade.
Diese Woche fühlte sich für mich tatsächlich wie 14 Tage Erholung an.
Einen ganz großen Dank an die Mitarbeiter des Hotels- vom Service bis hin zur Rezeption.
Die Herzlichkeit, die Aufmerksamkeit und Großzügigkeit, die wir- und ich ganz persönlich- erleben durften, waren für mich etwas ganz Besonderes und keineswegs selbstverständlich.
Auch das Frühstücksbüffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Alles war reichhaltig, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet- angefangen beim schönen Spiegelei bis hin zu den anderen Leckereien.
Selbst auf unseren Yoga-Zeiten wurde flexibel und aufmerksam Rücksicht genommen.
Das Servicepersonal war einfach spitze. Und natürlich darf auch unser "Reinigungsengel" nicht unerwähnt bleiben- vielen Dank.
Besonders schön fand ich auch die Gestaltung des gesamten Außengeländes, das Hochbeet mit den frischen Kräutern, die vielen liebevoll gestalteten Sitzmöglichkeiten und die warme persönliche Atmosphäre haben mich sehr berührt. Ich spürte überall, wie viel Herz und Aufmerksamkeit in diesem Objekt steckt- einfach unbeschreiblich wohltuend und warm.

Stay during a fasting hiking course
The hotel is very quiet, but within walking distance of the sea and the town.
It is a vegan/vegetarian hotel. It is advertised as having a restaurant, but be careful, only breakfast is served.
The rooms are small, but sufficient for one person. The bathrooms have been recently renovated. I first had a room with an incredibly narrow bed, although the website describes the single rooms as having 1.40 m wide beds. After a discussion, however, I moved to a room with a correspondingly larger bed. The mattresses are well firmed. Just right for me. The pillows are awful, large and clumpy. But here too, after consultation, a remedy was found (smaller pillow, but still clumpy).
There are two saunas. Unfortunately, you have to sign up for a sauna schedule. So you can't decide spontaneously or have to adapt to the free time you still have. There is also a great big sauna, but it is only turned on when 5 people get together and it then takes 3 hours to heat up.
There are perhaps a few chill-out options missing. There is only one beach chair on the lawn in front of the hotel and this is the smoking area.

Veggie hotel with an esoteric touch (and sometimes strange guests and customs)
We booked through a booking portal, and that's where the adventure began.
The location/site was perfect, whether it was the main road or the beach, you can reach everything in a few minutes on foot (or by bike/e-scooter). There were enough parking spaces, and I think the 6 EUR per day and vehicle is OK.
First surprise, because this wasn't communicated so clearly when we booked: The hotel is "vegan/vegetarian" (and probably esoteric too, there is "energized water" at the breakfast buffet). Since, contrary to their self-perception, followers of this diet probably make up less than 10% of the total population and are therefore a very modest minority, it would only be fair to the rest of the world to clearly communicate this self-image as a "veggie hotel" to the outside world. Also and especially on booking portals, which are also aimed at the 90% who fancy bacon, sausages and minced pork for breakfast.
But hey, you should also have new experiences in old age, try vegetarian pleasures...
Even before we reached the reception, we wanted to turn around again: First you pass through a kind of lock of horror. Foul-smelling shoes in an almost unbelievable number (for a hotel with only ~ 35 rooms) greet the guest in a small anteroom, which, thanks to the spring sun and generous glazing, offered an optimal temperature for the olfactory enjoyment of this fetish pile. Slightly irritated, I couldn't resist taking photos of this phenomenon, which had never been observed before (except in kindergartens and primary schools). Over the course of our stay, this shoe collection became smaller, and on the last day it had completely disappeared.
The strange experiences with other guests of the hotel would be a topic in itself, but that is not the subject of this review. I have now recovered quite well from the horror of the encounter with the very lightly dressed lady of advanced age in the stairwell.
For me, the most important things in a hotel are always: pleasant sleep, comfortable bed, decent room service, and a rich breakfast.
We slept "okay", the bed was a kind of double bunk without a headboard, i.e. there was a gap of about 20 cm between the bed and the wall at the head. That kind of thing just annoys me. For energized fasting ascetics who rest on their backs with their hands folded, that might be OK, but I find it catastrophic. Oh yes, the pillows... are there, but very! small.
I didn't see any room service during our days in the hotel. Neither were towels changed nor was garbage disposed of, probably here too: My expectations are not compatible with the offer of this hotel, where abstinence seems to be the measure of all things. At least there is a refrigerator in the room, which after about 24 hours (because it wasn't plugged in beforehand, of course) has the right temperature to cool drinks.
Finally, a few words about the rich breakfast buffet. During our time in the restaurant area, demand for butter and cheese and the nougat spread was significantly higher than for the beetroot, kidney bean, etc. spreads. There were good rolls, butter, cheese platters and eggs, as well as filter coffee (unfortunately from a pump jug, temperature below 60 °C, but still drinkable).
I am of course aware that my criticisms may be due to the orientation of the establishment and that they are met with applause and enthusiasm from the actual target group. But since the marketing (unfortunately) also reached me and enticed me to book, I will give my opinion on the matter.
Finally, a survival tip for anyone who is not on the fasting and abstinence trip: Darßer Brauhaus, Bergstrasse 1, can be reached quickly on foot. Excellent beer, excellent food. Order knuckle of pork (see photo)! Or something else. They also have veggie stuff...

A haven for vegetarians and environment-consciencious travellers
This small hotel is located in the center of Prerow, conveniently close to the village center and the beach area. Everything in the hotel is designed with the environment in mind and especially suitable for allergic persons. You can spend a whole summer vacation here or only a night. For travelers on bikes, this would be the perfect resting place.
The restaurant serves wonderful vegetarian (partially vegan) cuisine, the breakfast buffet alone is worth a stop-over as we have never seen anything like it! We could only spend a few days there but they were real holidays. The personnel is very friendly, especially the folks in the kitchen try to fulfill your special wishes.

Kleines Zimmer, schlecht beleuchtet ( Massiver Schrank steht vor der Lampe) , Betten knarzen ( da Vollholzbetten) , Matratzen sehr durchgelegen. Wenig freie Steckdosen (hinter den Betten oder man steckt zB den Fernseher aus), keine Rauchmelder im Zimmer,
Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig.
