Sudden end to a good relationship
We have been to this place many times, together and also with friends or family.
Should I have given a review before that evening, I would have consistently judged with five points.
For this reason, I always recommended this hotel to my business friends for accommodation and dining.
That evening we had reserved a table for two people.
We ordered the Swabian plate once and the vegetarian goat cheese once.
My company was very pleased with the goat cheese, as before with all our dishes.
Now, unfortunately, we come to the "but"
The first bite of the fillet was delicious, but unfortunately I couldn't claim it after the first fork of cheese spaetzle.
I put my plate aside for easy viewing for the operator, hoping for a demand on their part.
She passed our table ten times without paying attention to the plate.
After about ten minutes, I went to the counter myself to draw attention to the grievance.
Nothing happened for another ten minutes.
Now I went straight to the food counter with my almost untouched plate.
From the chef there I received the statement that there must be nothing wrong with the dough-like spaetzle, because he had already issued such a dish twenty times that evening and so far no complaint came.
He gruffly rejected my suggestion to test it himself, pointing out that I didn't have to pay for the food.
During the subsequent payment, we were also farewelled with snappy remarks from the young staff.
The final wish for a nice evening then sounded like sheer scorn.

Good food - Poor Service
We were spontaneously as a family of four for lunch in the beer garden today. On the positive side, despite many guests, we were immediately assigned a place.
Unfortunately, the Service was very disappointing. The staff reacted unkindly when I was one of four people who did not want to eat, after which we were hardly noticed and had to claim the bill ourselves in the end. In between, the waitress sat visibly at her own meal – which is legitimate, but in this form left an unprofessional impression.
In addition, there was ambiguity in the menu offer: We ordered drinks first. One person ordered a beer, and in the menu there was a pork knuckle with beer at a special price. When we wanted to book the neck with the already ordered beer, it was said that this was not possible – you had to order another beer. This was not communicated and we felt it was unfair.
Too bad, because the beer garden has potential. With friendlier, attentive Service and clear communication on the menu, the visit would have been much more pleasant.
We won't be going for the time being, even though we're single-minded.
