The Haus Gabriele is a country style hotel which has been newly built in the style of a Tuscan villa, offering a warm and Southern touch to your holidays. The hotel is also extremely suitable for families with children. Younger guests will be eager to explore the Europa theme-park here in Rust, the second-largest of its type in all of Europe. Alternatively, use the Haus Gabriele as an ideal base for exploring the nearby Taubergießen nature reserve, either on foot or by boat. Unwind in the evenings on the spacious terrace or in the hotel recreational room, to provide a perfectly relaxing end to a fine day’s activities. overnight stay for castles

wonderful hotel near the center of Fussen. We stayed in the new section of the hotel, brand new, high end everything in the rooms. marble aplenty, high end beds, all for (comparatively) next to nothing. very modern hotel. the staff (both of them) were extremely pleasant. in the morning, for the free breakfast, your typical german spread of meats, cheeses, breads, juices. good quality for the foods though. it was very busy the morning we were there, a tourist bus had stayed there, but both staff members kept the area clean and well stocked. we told them before they left and i will tell you all, We will be going back here again. obvious tourist attraction being the castles, but also a nice getaway location with hiking, lakes, and shopping in fussen.

Excellent

Very nice place in Rust in the Schwarzwald few minutes from Europa Park. Easy to find. Warm Welcome family who runs this place. Always with smile on the face willing to help in everything.
Very clean. I recommend this place to every family that wants to travel on this area with car all over Baden-Wurttemberg and also to Strasbourg or Basel.

Near Park (but not as close as mentionned)

Nice apartment, further from the official address. It is not 5 minutes from Park but 15. Otherwise nice place. Furniture (beds) outdated, made of wood and making a lot of noise as soon as you move :-D. Very friendly owner.

Europa Park anyone ? don't bother with the park hotels

Allright, if you live in europe and have kids (or if you are still young at heart ;-)), you will have to visit Europa Park in Rust one of this days.
As with any of those parks, there are very fine hotels inside and aroud, but this is only fine if you agree to participate on organized robbery. You will be so much better off trying a B&B in the village.
But now, since every house owner in Rust does B&B, how do you choose ?
Well, here I am. Don't hesitate book (early) in Haus Gabriele, Gabi and Rolf are the friendliest hosts you will find around, their bedrooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is excellent, they are not far away from the park entrance and they will give you the best advice on how to make your stay enjoyable.
To give you an idea on how far they will go, they advised us to make extra sandwiches with the breakfast food to avoid paying the super extra premium prices of food inside the park.
They don't have that many rooms available and they are quite famous for their hospitality, so book early enough or, if you are aiming at last minute, try your luck, if they are full, they will help you find another B&B.
We stayed at their place several times already and will continue doing so whenever we want to visit Europa Park.

Tout est parfait

Maison au calme, style chambres d'hôtes, à 10 min du parc. La propriétaire est adorable, parle allemand, français, anglais. Frigo avec boissons fraîches à dispo, petit-déjeuner très copieux avec beaucoup de choix, parking gratuit, terrasse. La chambre est assez grande pour 4, salle de bain avec douche. Propreté irréprochable nous reviendrons c’est certain! Merci pour votre accueil
