perfect for people travelling by train.

Due to its location right opposite Schwereiner Hbf, the hotel is an absolute recommendation for people travelling by train, as there is no hotel parking. Tram and bus stops are conveniently in front of the hotel, so it can get a little louder on the station side. The old town and the center are 5 - 10 minutes walk at a leisurely pace. The hotel itself is very clean and traditionally furnished. I don't think it's barrier-free, though. And in sunshine it can get very warm in some rooms depending on the location, there are only fans. When booking, note that some rooms have access to the separate bathroom via the corridor. The owner of the hotel is incredibly nice and friendly and tries to fulfill every wish so that everything works out. The restaurant in the hotel with Bulgarian cuisine is also an unqualified recommendation. We felt very comfortable there and will book there again (via the hotel Website directly).

Directly opposite the train station. 10 minutes on foot into the city, 15 to the castle. Price good, rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good for 15€

I would definitely recommend you to stay here, especially if you are only spending 1-2 days in Schwerin. We caught the fireworks show and managed to walk back to the hotel at 11.20pm! Apart from that, other attractions are also located nearby

Let me start with the positive. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The negatives are many: no safe in room, fake flowers in room, only one pillow, horrendous red and yellow decor reflecting the facade. noisy street even after midnight, worn out stair carpet, old carpet in the room, was that a TV? toilet/shower room for those under 75 kg only, cramped conditions with table and armchairs blocking much of the room's space. I was delighted to be leaving at 5am, and I had not been so tired from the day's travel I would have booked another hotel and would have been content to forfeit the €75 price for one night.
