Don't touch me, this isn't just about hygiene.
Unfortunately, not only a dirty and sticky toilet goggle and bowl awaited us, but also the wall next to the sink, such as the wall of the shower cubicle and the door of the toilet were full of various speckles.
The shower head and faucet were very calcified, the shower enormously dirty and the drain was full of hair and dirt. Also the bathroom floor was dirty.
The prepared towels were messy on the beds and are already very closed.
When you open the cupboard, you can expect a dirty smell, an old pillow and other messy towels and bed linen. The touted flat-screen TV is an old tube TV with few programs to search for. The existing cosmetic mirror is also dirty.
Other guests let us take a look in their room, it looked similar there too. The nice couple had already thrown their own blanket over the bed to sleep there. None of us wanted to walk around without socks.
We would have liked to have contacted the reception immediately after moving into the room, but no one was to be found there around 8.30 p.m., although the reception should be manned until 9 p.m. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm.
So, after a meal away, we decided to change accommodation. The key was left in the mailbox and the property was informed by email. After now six days no reaction took place.
We moved to another hotel, which was further away from Bamberg, but for the same price had much more comfort, hygiene, friendliness and service to offer. We would have liked to book a smaller business than a large chain, but this was an absolute wash.

Catastrophe!
We saw the room and decided after a short time not to stay there for hygiene reasons.
The furnishings are 40-50 years old and sticky, dirty - unkempt!
The smelly, old carpet is a complete disaster for allergy sufferers.
Prices of over €100 a night are a bad joke.

Please spend a little more money for the most wonderful time of the year.
The booking was made from August 10th to August 12th, 20223
Nothing was cleaned and no beds were made. I have never experienced anything like this in my 65 years of life.
The sink could not be closed. The hallway was not cleaned either. Please do not look closely at the toilet hinges.
Of course the price was only €74, but even for that the customer can expect cleanliness.
It was only 2 days, but I am not putting myself through this miserable affair anymore...

Schrecklicher Aufenthalt - nie wieder
herausfinden, woher der Geruch kam.
Im Zimmer liegt ein fleckiger, dreckiger Teppich. Nach dem Dekor zu urteilen, mindestes schon seit 1990. Trotz Teppich wurde nicht jeden Tag
gesaugt.
Überall waren Spinnen im Zimmer oder tote Insekten.
Die Tapeten haben sich teilweise von der Wand gelöst. Auch die Elektroinstallation sah teilweise nicht besser aus. Das Zimmer (Nr. 1) machte einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck.
Ich war vor längerer Zeit schon mal im Franken-Hotel und wusste, dass die Ausstattung einfach gehalten ist. Aber mit so einem schlimmen
Zustand habe ich nicht gerechnet.
Eine Übernachtung kann ich nicht empfehlen.
W-Lan funktionierte nur in der Nähe der Rezeption, aber nicht auf dem Zimmer.

Oh je, bloß nicht wieder.
Der Hammer ist aber das „Hotelzimmer“. Unsauberes, ungepflegtes Zimmer. Überall Staub und Spinnweben, Oberflächen verstaubt. Lockere Schrauben, muffiger Geruch. Löchrige Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Das Bettlaken fehlte ganz, da gibt’s halt nur eine Matratzenauflage. Abends ist dann auch niemand mehr da, muss man halt auf der Matratzenauflage schlafe. Also Leute von der blauen Grotte/Frankenhotel: fränkische Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus!!!
