Nice hotel in Templin near Market Square

The hotel is centrally located, 1 block from Templin Market Square. There is plenty of parking on the street, but the hotel also has 4 parking spaces in the backyard and other parking spaces at an extra cost (€10/night) in the building). In total there are about 22 rooms, which are accessible by stairs. The rooms are clean, nice and comfortable, equipped with a small minibar. A breakfast service is offered which is very rich. The staff is very friendly and nice. Outside of breakfast time you can order a coffee at the reception.

Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly!
The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference.

Great experiences

Lovely cosy hotel within a 3-minute walk of the city's main square. Rooms clean, breakfast lovely, staff caring. It's the second time we've been here, and we're very pleased. There's a drinking water cooler. Very delicious homemade breakfast jam!

Central and tasteful

The Hotel garni is very centrally located and easily found in the center of Templin due to very good signage. Town Hall Square is just a few steps away and the other sights and shops as well as restaurants in Templin are also very easy to reach. There is also no shortage of free parking. The rooms are very well furnished and equipped. Ours was also very bright and stylishly decorated. Breakfast is delicious and varied. My wife got gluten-free rolls as a matter of course. The staff is very friendly, attentive and well trained. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but had to move on.

It remains the last visit

We have been guests at the Hotel "Zum Eichwerder" several times.
The staff were always helpful and friendly. However, the last visit will also be the last. When we arrived, we were greeted by the extremely moody manager.
Her lack of competence with regard to the in-house software was taken out on us. Despite booking and paying early, a room was not blocked, our payment was not allocated and when we showed the booking and payment confirmation, which we received by email, we were only given a derogatory snort.
The tourist tax was also incorrectly calculated (more). When we asked, there was more drama...
The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was always very good, but it was a shame about the atmosphere, which was more like a train station hall. Dining room = reception
