A wonderful Christmas holiday.
We've just returned from a wonderful festive break with family and friends during Christmas week at the Maritim in Titisee. There were 9 in our party, plus a tiny dog! The position of the hotel at the far end of the lake is marvellous, a short walk to the shops etc. but quieter than further up in the town. The views across the lake from the hotel are magnificent. The restaurant and bar were all beautifully decorated for the season, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and a credit to the hotel. We needed assistance to find a vet for our dog, and the ladies at reception were wonderful, making several phone calls on our behalf to book an appointment. The staff in the bar and restaurant were equally lovely. Our waiter for most of the week 'Gabriel' was very kind, and very understanding with the needs of our grandson. We all found the food delicious! The breakfasts were incredibly varied with something for everyone. We loved the hot evening 'buffet' style meals, with deliciious choices each day, and the gala dinners were outstanding. The complimentary afternoon gluhwein and cakes during Christmas week was a lovely touch, and the manager's 'special' gluhwein event with the flaming rum and the sugar cone was brilliant. A big thank you to the manager and the staff for making our Christmas so special, and we hope to return in the summer.

The Maritim Hotel Titisee feels like a 'second home' to me....
Under the highly professional leadership of Mr. Rosso, Ms. Fitterling, and their team, this hotel is an excellent example of quality and elegance combined with soul.
The friendliness of the staff and the warm atmosphere can be felt immediately upon arrival at the reception. First-class check-in.
Situated directly by the lake, one can fully enjoy the breathtaking views.
Perfect wellness for body, soul, and mind.
The restaurant offers a generous selection of dishes.
The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are exquisite.
In conjunction with the wonderful restaurant staff, it is an experience that is highly recommended.
As a conclusion, there is nothing better than enjoying a cocktail prepared by the bar chefs Gabi and Andreas.
It is a pleasure to experience them working and getting to know them.
Especially impressive is the hospitality and the effort that all employees show with their positive demeanor towards every guest... 'Service with a Smile.'
Personally getting to know the guests and addressing special requests is an art that the entire 'Team Maritim Titisee' masters with passion.

However, I'm sorry to learn that the service and food didn't meet your expectations, as well as some of the amenities.
Currently, our Finnish sauna is not in operation, but as an alternative, we offer our barrel sauna in the garden with a beautiful view of the lake. Additionally, our gym is currently being modernized (as requested by many guests) - you can find table tennis, air hockey, and foosball in our Schauinsland room during this time. The bowling alley is open, as well as our pool and the lakeside meadow with beach access. Our beer garden team is available daily from 12 to 5 PM for you.
We appreciate your feedback and will take it into account for future improvements. Your experience is important to us, and we hope to provide you with a better stay next time.

Short breaks
Were a weekend there.Had a great stay.Room was small and fine, already a bit old but top, the view from the balcony to the lake was great.Great was also that you could still go to the indoor pool late in the evening.
