A discovery in the countryside

The hotel offers a good place to relax. The rooms are reasonably large and very quiet, the beds comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel are very friendly, the restaurant staff are trained. The offer with the Draisinentour is highly recommended. No problem if you are not so athletic or advanced in age. There are also e-draisines for rent. We were driven to the start and picked up again at the finish. In addition, we were provided by the hotel with a large lunchbox with treats on the go. The hotel is very close to nature. Much of what goes on the plate comes from your own garden. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the drinks menu as informative as it is creative. Under no circumstances should you miss breakfast. The homemade breads and jams taste delicious. In general, the selection from the buffet is very large. Fortunately, we booked another extra night. It would have been a great pity to spend only 2 nights in this great ambience.

It's supposed to be a constructive criticism.

The menu was very clear. For the guest it was more of a stroke of luck to make a selection. The value for money was borderline. To our exhilaration, a beer with 0.1 l was offered. By choosing a wheat beer, I managed to get a worthy amount of 0.5 l (on New Year's Eve should not be stingy with beer!)

Solid hotel and really good cuisine

The hotel is remote. For people who like hiking it is good. The food is excellent. The rooms are ok, the beds rather uncomfortable, if you want to lie on firm mattresses, you better mention that. The sauna is good.

A very successful Anniversary

We celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversay at the Hotel with friends from Germany and Switzerland. The party was organized via telephone from the UK and the communication between myself, Mrs. Marx and Mrs. Hoebel was excellent. The special room requirements were followed up, the party in the Finn Huette was outstanding with regard to service and food. We had small children present and due to the ideal location of the Hotel and venue, we didn't have to worry about their safety at all. My husband and I were well impressed and we have already decided to have the next party there again.

Not customer friendly or accommodating.

We came as a group of colleagues. Unfortunately, our organizer had contracted Covid the night before. I was supposed to share a double room with her. I got that anyway, but had to pay the higher price of the single room. It was a shame, because I had specifically planned for the lower price. Then it was room 10 on the first floor. When I wanted to go to bed there late in the evening, unfortunately I couldn't sleep all night because of the constant noise from the cooling system, which was probably right next to my room. It only stopped in the morning. When I mentioned it when paying after the (very good) breakfast buffet, the only answer was 'Too bad, I'm sorry.' I would have found it appropriate if I had been given a discount on the price or some other concession. I also think it's a shame that I won't visit this hotel again and won't recommend it to anyone.
