Great hosts and location

Really nice, friendly hosts. Guest house is in a quiet location only 3km from noisy Cochem. Very clean and tidy, we felt very welcome and had a great stay. Look no further...just book your stay here. The rates are good too!

Lovely hotel very peaceful

we booked this hotel based on reviews we had read online. We had a really relaxing break here, no disturbances, excellent breakfast every morning. Our bed was made every day and bins emptied. Very clean, nice bathroom. Very friendly, felt vry welcome and will definitely stay here again.
TIP If we didn't have a car we would have been a bit stranded due to the quiet location. By car 10mins to town but would be a long walk if no transport.

Get Ready to Use Your German...

The owner of this small hotel, Frau Steuer, does not speak English at all so be prepared. My German is extremely limited but we managed just fine so don't let that be a factor in your decision of where to stay. This little hotel is a delight. It is located in a small village about 3 km outside of the hustle and bustle of Cochem on a quiet semi-residential street. It is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Steuer who run a tight ship indeed. The rooms are immaculate and the beds comfortable. Our room overlooked the hillside with grape vines and a view of an old cathedral. They provide a parking space for each room just around the corner from the hotel. If you cannot climb stairs, request a room on the ground floor. Frau Steuer provides a wonderful German breakfast - fresh breads and rolls, homemade marmalade, cheeses and meats, eggs prepared to order, fruit and yogurt, and an excellent pot of coffee. She is an excellent innkeeper and will take care of your every need - as long as you can communicate what it is you want. She also provides a lovely glass of wine in her rose garden to her guests. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Knus en gastvrij hotel vlakbij Cochem

Wij waren opzoek naar een klein en gezellig hotel aan de Moezel. Dit hebben wij gevonden in dit rustige en knusse hotel. Hoewel het een heel klein dorpje is zijn de voorzieningen vlakbij. Wij hebben veel gefietst. De fietsen konden we parkeren en opladen in de garage wat erg goed geregeld was. Ook de parkeerplaats was super geregeld op kamernummer en de kamer was netjes. Vooral de badkamer en het aparte toilet waren netjes en niet te krap.

Nettes Landhaus

Wir haben 2 Nächten über Pfingsten hier verbracht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf die Weinberge. Das Zimmer war sauber und nett. Das Bad ist etwas klein, was bei zwei Nächten aber auch nicht so schlimm ist. Das Frühstück (coronabedingt nicht als Buffet, sondern am Platz serviert) war liebevoll angerichtet und hatte alles was man braucht.
Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Aufenthaltsraum mit einem Kühlschrank an dem man sich mit Getränken versorgen kann, was sehr angenehm war. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch im grünen Innenhof sitzen.
