A little gem!

Truly excellent hotel! Very clean, with huge and very comfortable rooms. The staff was more than friendly, helpful and always attentive to our needs. The breakfast is abundant and varied, truly excellent. We also tried dinner at their restaurant and were pleasantly surprised: everything was delicious, especially the steak, probably the best I have eaten so far in Germany!
The location is another great strength: the hotel is immersed in nature, far from the chaos, which guarantees silence and tranquility, but at the same time it is a short distance from the main centers of the Romantic Road. A perfect balance between relaxation and comfort.
Absolutely recommended!

A recommended hotel near the highway

I stayed with my short stay at this hotel near the highway (not heard)
very satisfied. The booked room was very clean, the bathroom huge and
had both tub and shower. Very pleasant was the friendly
and personnel facing the guest.
Here I would book again. Thank you so much!!

Viele danke to Hotel Wender for the wonderful stay. My only complaint s that we did not stay longer. We booked Hotel Wender for a day trip from Munich to Unterampfrach, a small village down the road from Hotel Wender. This is a family run pension and we felt like one of the family. We barely made dinner service but the manager/owner assured us to not rush and to enjoy our meal...which we did. Check in was easy and smooth. Our room had a Himmel Bed which is a classic, old school four post bed that the manager/owner informed us would assure us a good night sleep, as well as the sweetest of dreams:-) We put our bags down and headed to the restaurant. The cold, local lager HIT THE SPOT!!! The manager/owner was also our server and he answered all of our questions kindly and honestly. We had two schnitzels and they WERE SO GOOD!!!!!! We slept like logs on the Himmel Bed and indeed had the sweetest of dreams. The breakfast spread was a bountiful European breakfast and was all included in our price of $145 US. I had a piece of every cured meat (9 in total including head cheese, my favorite!) and multiple cheeses as well. There was also fresh juice, cheese, cereals, and coffee made to order. Our family in Unterampfrach will never let us not stay with them when we visit but if we ever need a classic, clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay near Aurach, we will most definitely be staying at Hotel Wender.

Good hotel

Price - quality superb. For 65.00 per night (single room with good breakfast) you get a good room (not a hyper-modern room). You can charge electrically. Restaurant with a limited menu, but the quality and price are very good.
Sufficient parking space.
Restaurant closes at 9pm - then you can go to the Edelweiss Stubbe where there is a fridge with drinks (you just have to write down your room #).

Great friendly comfortable hotel

Had a fantastic stay here.
Nice warm welcome and really friendly service.
The rooms were spacious and really comfortable, couldn't have asked for more.
The hotel was also really quiet, great for a good nights sleep.
The resturant and breakfast were great, with the same friendly service as received during check in.
