A wonderful treat!
Such a great start of my 59th birthday at HSH! We stayed in the beautiful suite 151 and the hotel staff surprised me this morning with a very sweet birthday card, rose patels at the breakfast table and a lovely birthday cake. Thank you so much for this wonderful & thoughtful treat!

Outstanding service & great memories
The Hotel Stadt Hamburg was more than just a hotel for our long weekend on the island.
The communication and service prior to our arrival were excellent.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and were able to check into our room at 12 PM, which was a wonderful surprise.
Then we entered our room and we received an amazing upgrade to a suite, thank you very much for that.
Ms. Scharmann from the reception really took great care of everything, organized the early check-in, a wonderful room, and also arranged a romantic turndown service.
This made my proposal on the island something truly special, and you have given my fiancée wonderful memories. Thank you very much.
The breakfast was also great, and Mr. Sharif treated us with fantastic dishes and very warm service. Your à la carte breakfast is outstanding; everything is fresh, it creates so much more tranquility in the restaurant, and surely also reduces food waste.
The HSH has truly warm and service-oriented staff, which makes a huge difference compared to many other hotels.
You have certainly found lifelong guests in us, and thank you for making this milestone so special for us.

Vintage at its best!
I stayed one night at the Hotel Stadt Hamburg (Grand Deluxe single room 153). What a charming hotel!? I have not seen anything like this before. Vintage wherever you look. And everything somehow feels out of time. Aged, but still somehow stylish. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room is really great. Spacious and with a small balcony. You cannot get a more central location. A few meters to the beach. Everything is within walking distance. The house is larger than expected from the outside. Endlessly long corridors. I cannot assess the food. Neither breakfast nor dinner was taken. But I strongly suspect that both are excellent. The gym is small, but acceptable. The spa was surprisingly nice, with an Asian touch. Sauna, steam room, pool (too cold). Some relaxation loungers. A crazily cool hotel with many Instagram-worthy locations. I enjoyed it. Thumbs up!

Super beautiful hotel to fall in love with.
I don't even know where to start :) Everything was incredibly great, especially when you first enter the hotel. You dive into another world, and our suite facing the garden was simply wow; one is left speechless. The breakfast from the menu is all of super quality. The bistro is super delicious, and the Hardy restaurant is simply a highlight; I am at a loss for words regarding the excellent quality.
The staff, from housekeeping to service, are all super friendly, always have an open ear, and take the time to chat.
We will definitely be back soon; it is always worth a trip to this hotel.
