That's the place to stay

Beautiful experience customer service five stars the breakfast buffet incredible perfect Center location to visit wetzlar... and just a short walk to the train station I definitely would come back to display amazingly clean everything even the bathrooms there was not one water spot

Solid hotel near the train station and arena

I booked the hotel for visiting Buderus Arena. It is very close to Wetzlar train station. The arena is about 350 m away. There is a Turkish supermarket at the hotel. Opposite is a large shopping center. In the old town you walk about 17 min (1.6 Km)
Check in/checkout was very friendly and welcoming . Thanks for that. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Since the hotel is located on a large road, it is of course not so quiet.
Which I didn't like so much. Cleanliness. The heating in the room,needs urgent cleaning. It's Ultra dusty.
Breakfast is much too expensive for the price and not worth 8€. Don't understand how to praise that. There is no coffee machine, no croissants, no yogurt, cereal, vegans would have no way to eat. I travel a lot and it's been the easiest breakfast I've had for a long time.
Otherwise I would sleep here again.

Unreliable and dishonest

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on my birthday. After we left, I realized that I had forgotten my charging cable in the room. We called the next day and were confirmed that the charger had been found. We then asked if it would be possible to have it sent to our address because the hotel is about 200 km away from us. Of course, they said yes on the phone. Unfortunately, we waited in vain and months had passed and no mail had arrived. After a long wait, we called again. First, Mrs. Geier said there was no time, but that she would definitely send it. Unfortunately, we waited in vain again and nothing came. Then I decided to call the hotel one last time and prayed that I would get the postal confirmation by email, just to be sure that she had actually sent it. Unfortunately, nothing came again. Now I realize that she never sent it and I am just thankful to God that I didn't lose any valuable items in this hotel because that would have been even sadder. My advice to people is to check your room thoroughly before you leave because apparently you will never get your things back. Also the coffee was cold, apparently poured 2 hours ago. And if you come to have breakfast at 9am then you are just out of luck. So once and never again.

The accommodation is definitely suitable for cyclists on the Lahn Valley Cycle Path.

The rooms are simply and contemporary furnished. The hotel entrance is not immediately recognizable. It is located right next to the entrance to a supermarket. The access stairs are used by passers-by as a place to sit, which is a bit unpleasant.
The location at the main train station opposite a large shopping center is convenient for transport. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk to the old town.
The storage space for bicycles in the stairwell is very limited.

New hotel

The hotel is one year old and is on a high level.
Sons are spacious and nicely decorated.
Located in the city center.
The problem could only be the noise from the road with the open window in the summer.
