HYGGELIG BOSTED

Vi var to par som bodde i 2 nettet. Sentral beliggenhet, rent og trivelig. Meget gode senger. Rimelig leie av sengetøy og håndklær. Hyggelig vert som møtte oss og slapp oss inn tidlig, fleksibel utsjekking . Fin terasse. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit. Vi kom med tog og det var grei gangavstand

Soul crushing

When we booked we were supposed to be in a room for two In nice looking house with a kitchen.
When we got there we were moved to a house with a nasty red steep stairway that made me think of the Shining.
Our room would have been ok, the bathroom and shower were in separate rooms, they were cramped and not very clean. The kitchen was a hot plate, the fridge was a bar fridge that we would have shared with another person.
If there is nowhere else to stay, including a ditch, it would be ok.

Not Fancy But Good Value.

We had the 2nd floor apartment. The bedroom was a reasonable size with table chairs and direct access to our private balcony offing beautiful mountain views. We had our own seperate bathroom and seperate toilet and sitting room.
Our room also had a good TV, and fridge. Also available is a shared kitchen and free off street parking.

Not a good place in the winter.

At arrival the room was chilled out (with the comment “oh, he forgot to plug the heating in) and the only heating source was a fan-heater. So at night I had to choose between being cold or listening to the quite loud noise from the fan-heater. Not normal Nordic standard.
Cleaning also left a lot to wish for – for example cooking-oil on the floor under the table. Chairs almost fell apart when sitting on them and there was no smoke-alarm and no safe way out if there would be a fire in the house/stairwell. Jumping from 3:rd floor should not be the only option. Also, the owners kids ran around in the staircase and made a lot of noise and constantly slammed doors in the early evening.
On the upside would be a rather spacious room (double on 3:rd floor), reasonably ok kitchen, decent bed and functional WiFi. The views from the balcony are of course magnificent (as almost anywhere in Åndalsnes) – but in the winter I would prefer a heated room instead. Not a place I would recommend but of course it works for a few nights.

Enkelt, rent og vær forberedt på å dele

Svært enkle rom med felles stue, kjøkken og ett lite bad/toalett.
Helt ok om du kun skal sove. Pris litt for høy i forhold til hva en får.
Parkering noe begrenset.
Oppleves litt som å bo hjemme hos en familie.
