Dingy, dirty, expensive

I was really disappointed with this hotel. In my opinion, it feels more like a 2.5-star property charging 4-star prices. We paid about $1,400 for three nights, and it simply didn’t deliver the level of comfort or quality I expected.
Our first room had an overwhelming odor that gave both of us headaches and made us feel nauseous within minutes. It was also extremely dusty, with large dust bunnies throughout the room that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. To the hotel’s credit, the staff was helpful and moved us to another room.
The second room was an improvement, but it still felt tired, dusty, and outdated. There were stains on the carpet, the walls were painted two different colors, and the towels were so rough they felt like cardboard. The room also lacked even basic amenities I’d expect from a hotel at this price point—no in-room phone, no slippers, no cotton pads, and very few of the small touches that make a stay feel comfortable.
The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest strength, and the staff was courteous when we asked to change rooms. Unfortunately, everything else felt worn and neglected. Overall, it felt much closer to a budget chain hotel than a true 4-star property, making the price very difficult to justify. Overall I really could not recommend this hotel. There are much nicer ones in the area that are just as great a location and not as disappointing of an interior.

The view over the water was incredible and the property was fairly quiet although on our one night we could hear faint music outside until after 2:30 am. But ear buds fixed that. The room was quite small but cozy. The shower is just corner of the bathroom (no separate floor)so water from the shower made the bathroom floor quite messy so we had to use the towels for that. It was fine for one night stay however and very convenient.

Wonderful breakfast, linens, dinner options and staff. The ONLY thing missing- hooks for wet jackets!

Good

The hotel has an excellent location, with all the main attractions and points of interest within a very short distance. The layout of the room was very convenient; however, there was a strong musty smell. The rooms do not have air conditioning, so it was extremely hot inside. The lobby staff did their best to help by providing two portable fans, as the one in the room was not working properly.
In terms of amenities, the room does not have a telephone to contact the front desk, which is a real inconvenience. Any question or request requires going all the way down to reception.
Regarding breakfast, it was varied, the food was good, and there was plenty of space for all the guests.
Considering the price per night, I believe the hotel should make its check-in process more efficient. On the day of my arrival, I was told that check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but I still had to wait quite a while before receiving my room.
