Unique atmosphere in the monastery garden

As a traveling camper, I come across many beautiful places. Some stay in my memory. This one definitely belongs among them.
My crew tried the salmon and the goulash – both were excellent. Along with that, there was a fantastic beer that went perfectly with the evening.
However, at least as impressive as the food is the location itself: right next to the historic monastery ruins, a special atmosphere of peace, history, and hospitality is created. Added to that was a warm and attentive service that made the evening perfect.
Actually, we only wanted to stay for dinner. In the end, we could have easily stayed much longer.

Girl of the Year

This year's girl trip, yes we are girls, even though we all turn 64 this year What an experience it was. Fantastic service, both when changing the booking, additional wishes and not least during the stay. Great service all the time. Lovely place, great facilities, and we who ate dinner there both evenings- lovely food. We also ordered beer tasting. It is really recommended. Very engaged and skilled brewer who loosened us through five lovely beers brewed on site and two delicious snacks accompanying two of them. Really recommend the place for both dining and accommodation. We will be very happy to return

A pearl in Trondheimsfjorden

Very good service and incredibly good food and drinks. Great surroundings and good atmosphere. Absolutely worth the trip. Recommended on the warmest.

Unique Dining Experience in Frosta

Frosta is the place I live in and love above all on Earth, which is one of the reasons why I have visited this restaurant many times with my family. The place has a unique character; you will find very few places to compare with. They brew their own beer (many of the varieties are award-winning), they have their own whisky, and serve absolutely superb soups. The establishment is family-run and truly has a spark to it. If you want to experience something that will stay with you for the rest of your life, you come here. The place exudes a sense of history, and for this reason, it is not 100% wheelchair accessible. However, it has toilet facilities for us, and we can access large parts of the area, although not everything.

Restaurant without food

Cozy place, but they didn’t have more than a half of the items on the food menu on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. What they did have didn’t sound appetising at all. Ended up with a coffee and cake for lunch.
