We had a great one night stay. The bar was a great place to grab a drink and play a game of cards before heading to a great dinner. The Vegetarian Strudel was delicious!
Breakfast buffet was okay. Plenty of food options but everything was lukewarm.
Overall, we enjoyed our summertime stay!

Top-notch stop.

Having a complete apartment is truly a luxury. Mountain-themed decor is 100% anachronistic in the middle of summer with a sun that never sets, but not unpleasant. Self-service breakfast is fully stocked with both savory and sweet options, and for the first time, a hot chocolate dispenser.

Disappointing restaurant visits

We had terrible anecdotes from the start when my wife after ordering a glass sprudlende got served a sweet Italian dessert wine , as sweet as a Peach Canei from 1983! I ordered “Fjellørret” for almost 400 kr, which turned out to be dried roasted trout (or salmon?) of First Price quality, with strange accessories (including some sort of pepper sauce). My better half ordered entrecôte for over 500 kr. This was ordered medium (the waitress did not ask, but my wife got called it after the waitress), but came to the table gray and roasted. To any extent, it was served with factory made bernais sauce. No here everyone in the kitchen must be kicked and started on “scratch”. When there are only 4 main dishes on the menu, which are stiffly praised, one should expect more than this. Egon serves better food! Sjerpings!!

Out of season visit

We stayed out of season at the resort, we booked a basic rooms which was fine for one nice, very small though (god knows how you’d cope with ski wear!!) and have no wardrobe space at all apart from a couple of hangers!
The man on reception in the evening was so incredibly helpful
We ate dinner in the bar, the food was very good actually.
Breakfast is ‘ok’
If you need to charge your car, there are plenty of chargers, BUT… they’re in the underground garages which you’ll get charged about £12 a nice to use.

OK for one night.

This hotel was fine for a one-night stay, but it had some drawbacks. The room was very basic, the chair had noticeable stains, and the view was not great. The lobby was just ok, and the reception experience felt a bit cold, as the front desk staff was not especially warm or welcoming. On the positive side, dinner at the restaurant was excellent—the food was delicious, and our waiter was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, which really stood out.
