Very pleased!
Was here on a dog collector. Was well received and got checked in to my room early. Was shown to the room by a very nice lady at the reception. Good bed and nice room.
Great service. She who worked at the reception was very on the offer side:-) She even went and picked up pizza for lunch for our group.
Good universal design at the hotel.
Good breakfast. Great and large meeting room that our group was allowed to dispose of during the entire stay.
The hotel is in the centre. Short distance to both restaurants, park and shops.
I would love to come back here on my next visit to Haugesund.

Good hotel with improvement potential
The hotel has a good location and the breakfast was very good. The stay was totally fine, but there were some things that made the overall experience a little disappointing.
When we arrived it was an hour and a half for ordinary check-in. We asked if it was possible to check in a little earlier, but was informed that our room was not ready. At the same time we received an offer for another room for an extra of NOK 200. After being at the hotel for a while, we got the impression that the coverage was low, and then you are left with the feeling that the hotel would rather earn a little extra than provide good service. I have found that other hotels are more flexible with early check-in when they have available rooms.
When we entered the room it also turned out that the cleaning was not satisfactory. On the floor we found dried contact lenses and other leftover items from previous guests, which does not give a good first impression.
We left one of the forgotten items visible on the bedside table, a spot that is normally easy to spot during cleaning. The hotel has not contacted afterwards about this, they could have done so. People love their possessions.

Trist, but central hotel
We stayed here because we were to celebrate the wedding of our son in the immediate vicinity. Otherwise we would definitely have chosen a better hotel. Terrible sad place. On the website it looks like they have a cozy bar,while in reality there is a small corner on the reception desk.The rooms are worn and old,and nothing works. Not lamps, the curtains are hollow and have slipped out of the rails in the ceiling. The shower curtain(in 2026?...) was yellow and disgusting. Safe? No, it doesn't work. Refrigerator? No, it only works in some rooms. The hallway was filled with tralls of dirt and the room was not cleaned in 3 days!! We had to pick up towels and doping paper on the tralls that stood scattered around the hallways. If you went to the reception to ask for anything, you had to wait until the people who worked there were done sitting at a table right next door. And why is there soon nobody speaking Norwegian at a hotel in NORGE! We Norwegians are becoming undervalued guests in our own country. Shame on you Scandic chains. This is too bad. But the breakfast was very good. So there they saved 2 points out of 10 possible.

Time for an upgrade of the hotel and rooms?
The room felt worn and poorly maintained, with visible marks on the walls and outdated furniture. Cleanliness was a concern – a dark fabric chair had white stains that gave an unhygienic impression.
The bed was uncomfortable, and both the duvets and pillows were very thin. The kettle in the room was dirty, and although I received a replacement from reception, it still did not feel clean enough to use.
Overall, the room did not meet a reasonable hotel standard. If this reflects the general quality of the hotel, I will not choose to stay here again.

Poor comfort and a lot of noise
Cold bathroom, hot fridge, poor cleaning, weak light, very listen between rooms. Really clean room. Located centrally
